“We are praying this so that you can live lives that are worthy of the Lord and pleasing to him in every way: by producing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God; by being strengthened through his glorious might so that you endure everything and have patience; and by giving thanks with joy to the Father. He made it so you could take

part in the inheritance, in light granted to God’s holy people. He rescued us from the control of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. He set us free through the Son and forgave our sins. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the one who is first

over all creation. Colossians 1: 10-15

Into your hands Heavenly Father we entrust these people

who are in need of your healing touch, knowledge of

your presence, and your comfort.

Sustain them in good days and bad. Help them to feel

your loving presence with them during every difficulty,

for you are always there ahead of any circumstance.

Watch over all those who are in need. Help them to feel

that you are always near them and know that all they

need do is look to you for comfort and for strength.

In Your loving name we pray. Amen
