Garments Accessories & Packaging industries of the
country. Garments Accessories & Packaging Industry act as a
backward linkage industry of RMG sector which employs more than
400,000 (4 lac) people. GAP Expo into its 11th edition is a marketing
platform created for the benefit of our members to showcase their latest
collection of accessories and packaging to large number of garment exporters,
buying houses and buying agents who visit the show.

GAPEXPO-2020 is platform created for our members to showcase their latest collections of
accessories & packaging along with related raw material and machinery. BGAPMEA
members are hereby invited to participate and benefit from effective sourcing platform.
GAPEXPO 2020 into its 11th edition is an effective marketing platform for the members of
BGAPMEA to display their latest products & latest collection to the RMG exporters, other
related exporters & buying houses who will be visiting the show. At the same time, it also act
as a platform for sourcing of machinery and raw materials.

About OrgainzerBangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) started its operation in the year 1989. The Association is a non-profit trade organization to safeguard the interest of garments acces-sories & packaging manufacturers & exporters of the country and represents about 1500 Garments Accessories & Packaging industries of the country. Garments Accessories & Packaging Industry act as a backward linkage industry of RMG sector which employs more than 400,000 (4 lac) people. This sector not only generate employment but also earned valuable foreign exchange to the tune of US$ 6.12 billion annually during the financial year 2015-16. If the sector gets policy support and cooperation from government, the earning of this sector is likely to increase up to US$ 12 billion by the end of 2018, and to US$ 18 billion by the end of the year 2025. Total investment of this sector is about US$ 30 billion & value addition is near about 40 percent. Most members of our Association belong to Small & Medium Enterprises (SME). This Association is run by a Secretariat under guidance of an elected Board of Directors through franchise for a term of 02 years. This association is a member of the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) & also the World Packaging Organi-zation (WPO)
