Since its establishment in 2009, BAM Precast Yard has produced prefab concrete

elements for BAM sister companies as well as other major contractors. Our clients

have been operating on behalf of their principals in the oil & gas and mining

sectors. We have always delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with the

requirements – which in some cases have been extra stringent due to

construction taking place in Class A nature reserves.

Proven track record

BAM Precast Yard is located in West Java, Indonesia, within the boundaries of the

Port of Ciwandan in Cilegon. With a maximum draft of 15 metres, the port

facilitates freight vessels capable of transporting large quantities of prefab

elements.

On-site facilities include a ready-mix concrete plant and an expandable storage

area.

Precast concrete structures from BAM Precast Yard are fully compliant with

Australian, Indonesian and American industry standards. BAM delivers to the

most stringent of quality and quarantine requirements.

BAM Precast Yard is part of Royal BAM Group and is

closely related to BAM’s Indonesian branch.

Our expertise is based on decades of global experience

and work methods developed within the BAM Group.

One of our specialist products is the Xbloc, a lightweight,

environmentally friendly and financially responsible

concrete armour unit for breakwaters that was

developed by BAM subsidiary Delta Marine Consultants

(www.xbloc.com).

We are able to produce a large variety of concrete

elements in a short time at a competitive price. Our

range of experience guarantees short learning curves

and a quick start.

Typical products include:

• armour units such as the Xbloc and other types

• jetty elements such as headstocks, beams, deck slabs

• gravity structures

In general, we have the skills and capacity to produce

heavy civil and marine precast products weighing up to

125 tonnes.

The Precast Yard has a production capacity of over 5000

cubic metres per month.

Loading capacity at the Precast Yard includes lifting of

units up to 125 tonnes (two fully synchronised sets of

80-tonne gantry cranes). Washing of the equipment is in

compliance with Australian quarantine requirements.

Shipping takes place at the Port of Ciwandan, merely

500 metres from the Precast Yard. Here, a heavy-duty

export berth offers 100-tonne cranes and a maximum

draft of 12 metres.
