National Art Honor Society
Criteria: The National Art Education Association is committed to recognizing high school students who demonstrate outstanding abilities in the visual arts. For over 30 years, NAEA’s National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recognized students who exhibit the highest standards in the visual arts, and who bring visual arts education to the attention of their schools and communities. Exemplary performance in Baldwin’s Visual Art program, as well as academic and attendance eligibility in Baldwin High School, is the criteria for acceptance into the National Art Honor Society.
The NAHS program provides avenues for recognition of the artistic talents and leadership roles for visual arts students, while spotlighting the success and community work of your school’s art program. We partake in several community service events during the school year, which highlights our high school Visual Arts program, as well as bring art awareness to the community.
