BAGUA MAP Feng Shui is concerned on the symbiotic relationship between man and natural environment. The philosophy of this Art of Placement is that balance in life is achieved when man and nature are co-existing harmoniously with each other. In Feng Shui, a Bagua Map –also called Feng Shui Energy Map- is a tool to help define thequalities of the energies in your house, office and other living spaces. In that respect, the Bagua Map serves as a guide to help you improve those areas in life that are weak. To determine the Bagua of your house, is recommended to do a compass reading, starting with the main door or entryway to your house. The front door is considered as a very important starting point in Feng Shui because it is where the energy flows intoyour home or office. Using the Bagua map, the door guides the energies to bring about helpful people, personal growth or success in your business or career. The BTB/Western School Bagua Map is a grid divided into nine parts which represent the nine areas of life . In the Western School, you lay the Bagua Map with its bottom edge aligned with the wall where the main door or entryway to your house is. Each square is assigned to a Feng Shui area. The lower grid (from left to right) will be your personal growth and cultivation, career and path, and the helpful people and blessings. Middle row is family and heart, health, and children and creativity. Upper Row are wealth, prosperity and abundance, fame and reputation, and love and marriage/relationships.
