Why Is it important to back up your files?
If you've ever been in a situation in which you've almost completed an important project, only to have your computer crash seconds before hitting the "save" button, you understand how frustrating losing your data can be.
This is why you should always back up your data and save it again in different places away from your computer.

What should you back up your work or information to?
Try to back your work up away from your computer in case it crashes or gets a virus. You can back up your data to:
USB sticks External hard-drives CD’s Other computers/laptops Remember - always make sure you have more than
one copy of your work saved else where.

How can you protect your backups?
After you’ve backed up your important personal files and information, you’ll want easy yet secure access to them when you need it.
Make more than one copy.
Delete old files or use compression software
Get your information out of the house or office
Protect your backup files with a password.
