Are you eager to work in close cooperation with our data scientists on cutting edge technology? Do you have the proactive mindset to drive our lead projects? Your responsibilities: • Design new microservices • Migrate existing APIs and integrate third party APIs and client systems • Develop Natural Language Processing components • Create ML and Deep Learning components • Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale • Work closely with product management, designers, and UI engineers • Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes Your skill set: • 5+ years experience in Java or Scala • Experienced in REST API, Apache SPARK and KAFKA (preferable) • Experience in LightBend Lagom (preferable) • Solid understanding of SQL including complex queries and optimization • Proactive, passionate and able to turn ideas into fast, reliable and maintainable code • Ability to work both independently and with team members in a fast moving environment • Fluent in English, German as a plus We are a young, dynamic startup @ Technopark in Zurich with an international expansion strategy.
