Christians be joyful and praise your salvation
Now it came to pass in those days See now the bridegroom, full of grace Prepare thyself, Zion, with tender affection How shall I fitly meet thee And she brought forth her first-born Son For us to earth he cometh poor Mighty Lord and King all glorious Ah! Dearest Jesus, Holy Child
For the Second Day of Christmas
And there were shepherds in the same country Break forth, 0 beauteous, heavenly light And the angel said to them, Be not afraid What God to Abraham revealed Haste, ye shepherds, haste to meet Him And this is the sign to you Within yon gloomy manger 0 haste ye then! ye shepherds, go Slumber, beloved, and take Thy repose And suddenly there was with the angel Glory to God in the highest
For the Third Day of Christmas
Hear, King of Angels, though falter our voices And when the angels were gone from them Let us even now go to Bethlehem He bids us comfort take The Lord hath all these wonders wrought And they came with haste Yes, yes! my heart will keep and ponder Thee with tender care I'll cherish And the Shepherds returned Rejoice and sing Christians be joyful and praise your salvation
