2.2. DESKRIPSI ALAT

2.2.1. - Nama Alat : Casing.- Fungsi : Melindungi lubang bor dari pengaruh fluida formasi

dan tekanan sekitarnya, melindungi lubang bor dari

guguran, memisahkan formasi produktif satu dengan

lainnya.

- Mekanisme : Casing dipasang mulai dari permukaan yang disebut

dengan conductor casing, lalu surface casing,

intermediate casing, dan yang terakhir pada zona

formasi produktif adalah production casing, dimana

semakin kedalam diameternya semakin kecil.

2.2.2. - Nama Alat : Liner.

- Fungsi : - Mengatasi adanya masalah kepasiran pada komplesi

sumur.

- Menyaring fluida formasi yang masuk ke dalam formasi.

- Mekanisme : Liner dipasang di didepan formasi. Untuk pemasangan

liner, mud cake harus dibersihkan terlebih dahulu untuk

mencegah terjadinya penyumbatan, dengan menggunakan

fluida bebas clay aktif pada fluida komplesinya atau

dengan menggunakan air dan garam.

2.2.3. - Nama Alat : Conventional Screen.

- Fungsi : Mencegah ikut terproduksinya butiran pasir bersamaan

dengan fluida hidrokarbon dari formasi produktif

kedalam lubang sumur.

-Mekanisme : Dengan menempatkan screen didepan formasi. Terlebih

dahulu mud cake harus dibersihkan untuk mencegah

terjadinya penyumbatan (plugging). Dengan

menggunakan fluida bebas clay aktif pada fluida

komplesi atau dengan menggunakan air garam. Jenis-

jenis screen :

Horizontal Slotted Screen Vertical Slotted Screen Wire Wrapped ScreenConventional screen memiliki outside diameter yang

sama dengan inside diameter tubing, sehingga ketika

dimasukkan kedalam tubing akan membutuhkan tenaga

dorongan yang relatif cukup besar.

-Mekanisme : Expandable screen digunakan pada sumur horizontal,dimana diameternya akan mengalami pengembangan

setelah diberi tekanan.

2.2.5 - Nama Alat : Gravel Packer.

- Fungsi : - Mengatasi masalah kepasiran.

- Memperbaiki kegagalan screen liner.

- Mekanisme : Sebelum menempatkan gravel packer, lubang

dibersihkan sehingga ruang atau gua untuk menentukan

gravel dapat dibuat. Masukan screen liner dan pompakan

gravel sampai mengisi seluruh ruang atau gua dimuka

formasi produktif sehingga pasir akan tertahan dan fluida

produksi bebas dari pasir.

2.2.6. - Nama Alat : Coiled Tubing.

- Fungsi : Pengganti rig conventional yang bisa digunakan untuk

pengantar fluida, remedial/ squeeze cementing, matrix

stimulation, wellbore fill removal, well kick-off, dll.

- Mekanisme : Penggunaan coiled tubing tidak perlu disambung-

sambung, karena menggunakan tubing yang kontinyu.

Tidak pada rig conventional yang diputus dan

disambung satu persatu.

2.2.7. - Nama Alat : Bullet Perforator.

- Fungsi : Dalam pembuatan lubang menembus casing dan semen

sehingga terjadi komunikasi antara formasi dengan sumur

yang mengakibatkan fluida formasi dapat mengalir ke

dalam sumur.

- Mekanisme: Gun body terdiri dari silinder panjang terbuat dari besi

yang dilengkapi dengan suatu alat kontrol untuk

penembakan. Sejumlah gun ditempatkan dengan interval

tertentu dan diturunkan ke dalam sumur dengan

menggunakan kawat dimana kerja gun dikontrol dari

permukaan melalui wire line untuk melepaskan peluru

baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara serentak.

2.2.8. - Nama Alat : Jet Perforator.

- Fungsi : Sebagai pembuat lobang menembus casing sehingga

terjadi komunikasi antara formasi dengan sumur yang

mengakibatkan fluida formasi dapat mengalir kedalam

sumur.

- Mekanisme: Prinsip kerja jet perforator berbeda dengan gun perforator.

Powder yang eksplosif diarahkan oleh bentuk powder

chargenya menjadi suatu arus yang berkekuatan tinggi

yang dapat menembus casing, semen dan formasi.

2.2.9. - Nama Alat : Hydraulic Perforator.

-Fungsi :Sebagai pembuat lobang menembus casing sehinggaterjadi komunikasi antara formasi dengan sumur

yang mengakibatkan fluida formasi dapat mengalir

kedalam sumur.

-Mekanisme :Prinsip kerjanya berbeda dengan gun perforator.Gerigi yang ada di hydraulic perforator melubangi

dinding casing terlebih dahulu kemudian aliran

fluida bertenaga dan bertekanan menembus semen

dan formasi pada lubang yang terbentuk.

2.2.10.- Nama Alat : Swab Cup.- Fungsi: : Digunakan untuk mengeluarkan fluida yang

terakumuasi di dalam yang disebabkan oleh sumur

berhenti mengalir secara alami dan dipasang didalam

rangkaian tubing.

- Mekanisme : Peralatan swabbing yang terdiri dari wire rope socket,

sinker bar, set of jar, swabbing unit, piston like, object

yang terdiri dari cup dan valve yang tersusun dalam

mandrel diturunkan ke dalam sumur dengan keadaan

fluida valve terbuka, sehingga swabbing unit dapat

mencapai dasar sumur. Pada saat ditarik valave akan

tertutup sehingga fluida yang terdapat pada valve akan

terperangkap dan terangkat ke permukaan.
