PORTFOLIO GUIDELINES Your interview for the BA (Hons) Costume and Performance Design course will be quite informal and will last for about twenty minutes. The interview panel (consisting usually of two people - possibly including a student) will be interested in your work and your reasons for wanting to study Costume and Performance Design at AUB. Portfolio You should include in your portfolio a range of work from the suggested list below: - Life drawing - Examples of shows or films that you have worked on (in however limited a capacity) - Costume and fashion work - Any work that is related to spatial design – e.g 3D models - Evidence of play analysis - Evidence of your particular interest in costume and scenography (theatre design) - 1 sketchbook demonstrating your creative process You should aim to bring a maximum of 20 portfolio pages which best showcase you and your work. Electronic portfolio If you are unable to attend interview Admissions will request a link to an online portfolio. Please do not submit a portfolio until you have this request which will give details of how to submit to admissions. We will require a digital portfolio of approximately 20 images – please use the above guidelines to help you prepare.
