    You need to submit to the Italian Embassy/Consulate the pre-enrollment Form A along with the followingdocuments:

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of a first level academic degreeUniversity transcript with all the courses taken (Diploma supplement if available).

    If your pre-application request has been accepted, you will then need to bring in person and deliver to the"Welcome International Students!" (WIS!) office the following documents:

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of a first level academic degree, officially translated into Italian

  • and authenticated by the Italian consular authority of the country in which they were issuedDeclaration of value (Dichiarazione di valore in loco) of the corresponding diploma awardedUniversity transcript with all the courses taken (Diploma supplement if available)Content description of each course taken written on the University's official letterhead stationary orvalidated with the University stamp.One passport-sized photograph;One special stamp called "marca da bollo" which costs 16,00 (sold in any Italian tobacco shop);Photocopy of your passport or identification card (you must bring the original passport or ID card toshow);copy of the Residency Permit;The first university admission fee receipt of 407,00 or application for a DSU scholarship, in caseyou fulfill the necessary criteria OR receipt of payment of the first installment of the Universityfees.

    Please remember that:If you pre-register in a second level degree programme (laurea magistrale), admission dependson the possession of specific academic requirements. To learn about these requirements, please goto our webpage Degree programmes and look for the section which corresponds to the degree youare interested in. If you need a preliminary assessment of your current degree, you may send anemail to the head of the degree programme you are interested in.If you pre-register in a degree programme taught in English (Master's degree), we recommendyou visit the dedicated webpage to learn about the procedure, deadlines and academic requestsnecessary for admission. Registration in a degree programme in English does not require passingthe obligatory Italian test.Students may directly ask the President of the degree programme if they can submit their Universitytranscript with all the courses taken as well as the content description of each course in the originallanguage

    Acceptance of the pre-application requestTo find out if your pre-application request has been accepted, you must contact the Embassy orConsulate where it was originally submitted.Once in Pisa, eligible candidates will need to bring in person all their documentation and deliver it to the"Welcome International Students!"     Italian language test(Obligatory for those who wish to study only in Italian)Non-EU citizens residing abroad are required to take the obligatory Italian language test before theadmission exam to a Bachelor's, Master's or a single-cycle degree program.The date to take the Italian language test is September 2nd, 2014.You are exempt from taking the Italian language test if:

    you hold a certificate attesting to your knowledge of the language certificate of at least a B2 level

  • you are applying for admission to programmes taught in Englishyou belong to one of the categories specified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
