In 1997, HG Groups started its very first office in Vietnam and growing to be a strong DMC in the region. The hospitality group nowadays consists of Bhaya Cruises a luxury cruise line in Halong Bay with 19 fleets, Asia DMC – a destination management, Gotadi – OTAs and tickets agency for domestic market, Lang Co Resorts in Hue and soon-to-be-launched Namia Hoi An Resort in ancient town of Hoi An.

HANOI URBAN HIKE HALF DAYGet ready for an off-grid adventure right at the heart of Hanoi city. After a short car transfer from your hotel, we reach the shore of the Red River. We start here a 2-kilometer hike across an oasis of green set amidst the urban jungle. We walk on a little pathway across one of the biggest islands of the Red River. This gentle walk takes us along fruit orchards, banana plantations and vegetable gardens. It feels like stepping into another dimension, miles and miles away from the bustling capital. Yet, look up and you will spot the skyscrapers that seem so close. We then walk up an immense piece of heritage, the iconic Long Bien Bridge, designed by Eiffel and heavily bombed during the war. Walking along it is like bridging between two worlds with beautiful views over both the city and the island. We end our walk at the Dong Xuan covered market. Explore the colourful stalls before transferring back to the hotel.

THE BACK ROADS OF ANAM FULL DAY In the morning, we are picked up by our driver and guide to the road of tombs that leads us to the northern edge of the longest lagoon of the country. We’ll pass a quaint fishing village, a little gem that very few know about. Using a local boat on the lagoon, we discover the ancestral fishing techniques. SAIGON VINTAGE CITROEN MEET AND GREETThe step back in time to French colonial rule starts as you step out of the airport and hop into a gleaming vintage Citroën car. The La Dalat is a cool convertible car, manufactured in Dalat from 1970 to the fall of Saigon in 1975. It is the only vintage vehicle finding its roots in Vietnam.

The guide and driver will take you on a brief exploration tour of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, the colonial part of the city that locals still call Saigon.
