Have you ever wondered what it takes to make 3D graphics in movies and video games? Have you ever wished you had the chance to create those things yourself? In this high tech exploratory camp, you’re going to have your chance. Using the 3D software Sketch Up, you will complete a series of four dierent challenges over four days. We’ll start easy by making something simple and by the nal day you’ll have your chance to push the software to its limits and make a creation out of your own imagination!

Campers will learn the basic concepts of auto body including: using hand tools, spray gun set up, primary/secondary colors, measuring, fabricating, safety, and the use of our virtual painter. The campers will be nishing a metal license plate or mailbox. Upon completion, they will nal polish their project to achieve a awless nish.

The focus of this camp is home service fundamentals and safe working conditions. The items stressed include: uid examinations, checking tire pressure, changing oil, lters, wiper blades and tires. Campers will work on actual vehicles, use common hand tools and experience a professional shop environment.

The focus of this camp is to teach the basic concepts of hair care, skin care, nail care and proper make-up application. All applications will be performed on themselves or a mannequin (provided for use).

A four day camp designed for 11-14 year olds interested in becoming a babysitter. Infant, Child and Adult CPR as well as 1st Aid basics will be taught. Campers will help plan and discuss child-appropriate, fun and engaging activities designed to work all three areas of a child’s development.

“We will be creating beautiful and delicious Cupcakes and Cookies, using Buttercream, Royal Icing, and Rolled Fondant, not to mention tasty llings!”

Campers will utilize the same building techniques as used in residential framing industry to build a 1/8 scale ranch style house. They will also have the opportunity to wire household electrical switches and outlets, and lay brick and block. Shop safety, hand/power tool usage and blueprint reading are also part of our four day experience. The students will take their model house and a starter tool set home with them to remember their great experience for years to come.

Experience the local favorites of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Cleveland Cavaliers, New England Patriots and Chicago Cubs. Take a culinary tour throughout these Championship Cities.

Summer camp attendees will explore computer programming using popular game design engines and other educational programming platforms. Basic games will be designed, developed, and tested.

In Graphic Design Camp, students will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the art and graphic design eld. Professional graphic design software, like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, will be used to create awesome class projects. On the nal day, campers will create their own t-shirts, personalized water bottles and more!

This camp will focus on developing storylines, characters, writing perspective, as well as other tools necessary to write a ction story. Students will share their writings with their peers. A formal reading with parents will be on the last day so that students can read their work, if desired, to show o their talents. Students just need to bring their imagination!

Students will enjoy hands on learning while completing various projects relating to the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) eld. Projects will include soldering a copper tubing project, installing an electrical circuit, constructing a metal box from sheet metal and using our virtual welder. Campers will also learn tool, shop and electrical safety before working with numerous pieces of equipment.

Explore your interest in the ever expanding eld of Public Safety. Learn about the training and skills needed to serve your community EMS, Fire, Police including CPR with AED, Fingerprinting, Fire Engine Operations.

Future roboticists and engineers can gain experience and have fun exploring careers in robotics by learning about the concepts of teamwork, planning, brainstorming, prototyping, programming, building and testing robots to function and compete with other robots.
