Tee Time: 10:15 AM Shotgun startGrouping: will be available on the day

PLEASE DO NOT NEITHER CHANGE NOR REQUEST TO CHANGE GROUP ON THE DAY.

In general, No more than 2 players from the same club/association per group. At least 1 experience golfer per group. There are a number of new golfers playing so please be courteous, assist them with scoring and enjoy.

Speed of Play: Please follow group in front at all time but avoid hit ball over their head or at them ! Two strokes penalty for the whole group if 2 or more holes behind the front group. No one ever get penalised in previous years so please don’t be the first !

Divisions: 4 divisions as followed:1)- Ladies: Handicap 0-36 (Red Tee)2)- Men: Division A: Handicap 0-15 (Blue Tee) Division B: Handicap 16-27 (Blue Tee) Division C: Handicap 28 or more plus Callaway

players (players without official handicap) 3)- AVGA Open Champion 2013: winner will be the

lowest adjusted (NET) score chosen from the list of winners of the 3 divisions (Ladies and Men Div A and Men Div B) with the best net score

4)- AVGA Best Gross 2013 (all players) Note: Players without an official handicap will be

given a handicap for the the day after the game, determined by the Callaway system from their score and their Net score will be ranked within the Men Division C.

Callaway players can win Division C but will not be considered for the Open Championship title and prizes.

Prizes:The final prizes allocation and list will be announced

on the day. Lots of prizes to be won and given out, including:

- Trophies & medals for Top 30 golfers- 6 returned tickets AUS-Vietnam (conditioned applied

and Tax not included)- AVGA Open Champion (Net score): 2

tickets- Nearest to the pin on hole 2, 5, 10 & 16: 1

ticket each (total 4 tickets for the 4 par three holes).

- Note: Player can only win 1 NTP prize, in the case of same player recorded on more than 1 NTP, this player will be awarded prize for the lowest hole number. The second name on the other board will be awarded the prize for that hole.

- Due to our obligations with sponsors, all winners must presents to receive prizes and awards or you maybe OB and the next player will be awarded.

Ruling Committee: any questions about the championship rule or scoring, please see the Ruling Committee, all decisions by the ruling committees is final.

Registration:

Championship format: STROKE (modified)

In the interest of a speedy game and for players of all levels can enjoy the game, the rules applied for the AVGA Open Championship 2013 will be based on the R &A rules of golf, with the addition of the local rules and the following Championship rules:

- Maximum number of strokes per hole is “double par” + 1

- Par 5: Maximum strokes: 11 (pickup your ball and give yourself 11 on that hole)

- Par 4: Maximum strokes: 9 (pickup your ball and give yourself 9 on that hole)

- Par 3: Maximum strokes: 7 (pickup your ball and give yourself 7 on that hole)

- Lost Ball:

- If your ball is deemed to be lost in Hazzard ( red stakes), the penalty is 1 stroke and you can drop your ball based on the normal R & A rule

- If your ball lost in the area of non hazard areas (OB or lost ball), the penalty is 2 strokes and players are allowed to drop just as if it was lateral hazard.

- Maximum allowable scores: for all categories is -3. All scores with the total of more than 3 under will be adjusted to -3. For example:

- Player A with handicap of 12 shot 5 under, his adjust score is -3

- Player B with handicap of 11 shot 3 under, his adjust score is still -3

- Player B will be declared winner as Player A & B has same score after adjustment and B has a lower handicap.

- Count Back: In event of any ties, players with lowest handicap will be declared winner. In event of ties due to handicaps, a count-back rule apply starting with back 9 total score, last 6, last 3, last hole etc.. until a winner is declared.

- Incomplete round: In case of rain delaying the round an alternative scoring system will be used.
