AVCS The ADMIRALTY Vector Chart Service (AVCS) is the most comprehensive, official digital chart service in the world, containing over 12,000 Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs). AVCS only contains ENC data that meets SOLAS Carriage Requirements for use within ECDIS. Using AVCS in combination with Neptune allows access to immediate updates to ENC data, anywhere in the world, at any time. Features: •    Displayed as a single layer on top of the basic ENC. •    Available free of charge as part of the Admiralty Vector Chart Service and  within Admiralty Value Added Resellers’ services. •    Easy, clear and consistent way to view data required in addition to the  standard chart, to enable safe and compliant navigation. •    Eases simplicity of passage planning by showing where important Temporary  or Preliminary changes may impact a voyage.  •    Enables shipping companies to comply more easily with Port State Control  (PSC) requirements by providing T&P NMs where they do not currently  exist in ENC coverage today. •    Can be displayed on compatible ECDIS equipment. PrimarPrimar is operated by the Norwegian Hydrographic Service and delivers official 

electronic navigational charts (ENC) for use in ECDIS and ECS. The Primar ENC 

Service provides ENCs which meet SOLAS charts and carriage requirements when

kept up to date and used on type-approved ECDIS with appropriate backup.

Regulatory Authorities as meeting requirements for the carriage of official

nautical publications to support the planning and execution of a voyage under

the Merchant Shipping Safety of Navigation Regulations 2002.

Admiralty eNPsAdmiralty eNPs are e-books for the mariner - allowing bridge crews to add NM 

updates faster and more accurately than paper publications, and giving them easier

access to information they need.

You can add relevant NMs to all eNPs in just a few seconds each week, far more 

easily and quickly than with paper-based products; giving bridge crews more time 

to focus on other important duties. Small, weekly NM update files for eNPs can be 

regularly downloaded via internet, and are also available on a quarterly update DVD.
