MatchingIPFilterscanbeusedtomanagetrafficandprovidesecurity,byallowingthatspecificactionsareperformedwhendefinedcriteriaarematched.Onlydatathatmatchesthepatternisallowedtopassthroughthefilter,andthesefilterscanbeusedtosettrafficpriority,droporallowIPpackets,aswellasdefinetheconditionsformirroringtraffic(e.g.,IPTelephonyinaContactCenterenvironment).
