In 2019, the Texas Health Harris brand welcomed numerous expan-sions across the Fort Worth area. The Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) branch successfully raised $2 million within its surrounding communities for a planned three-story building, that will host 18 beds in isolation and regular ICU rooms.

The Jane and John Justin Patient Surgical Tower is the largest project in Texas Health history. With a nine-story, $300 million tower, the project will add 144 patient beds, 15 surgical suites and a new pre and post-operative units to its Fort Worth campus. The network is also serving the Alliance corridor with its $74.2 million expansion at 10684 Texas Health Trail. The three-story, 65,000 SF addition will house 84 new rooms with units for criti-cal care, medical-surgical and women and infants’ services, along with a new surgical suite, and a support services wing. All projects are expected to be completed by 2022.

Four Points by Sheraton is the �rst full-service hotel with a restaurant and 24-hour room service in Euless. The Riverwalk development is opening a �ve-story hotel room with 100 rooms at 972 East Harwood Road, and the Harwood 360 Plaza that will house job centers and cultural venues. The current home of the First United Methodist Church was rezoned to commer-cial and divided into �ve lots that will include QuikTrip and other businesses as part of the Midtown project.

American Airlines’ Headquarters is under construction on the west side of Texas 360 and north of Trinity Blvd. in Fort Worth. Trinity Complex is a four, 7-story building with a 600-room hotel, �tness center, health clinic and a large meeting space for employees staying at the campus for training. The $350-million project opened in the second half of 2019 and will be completed through 2021.

Centurion American’s $19.2M infrastructure project is located at the NW intersection of Park Drive and West Euless Blvd. Founders Parc is a mixed-use development that will feature 40,000 SF of retail and restaurants, with 275 multifamily units and 259 residential villas. Comfort Inn & Suites is also bringing in a 4-story hotel with 91 rooms, an indoor pool, workout room, and large breakfast area.

Bear Creek Estates for Lennar Homes and Apex are both along the Bear Creek Parkway area, housing at least 200-units. 55Plus Senior Housing at Highway 121 and Gala at Oak Crest and Dickey Drive are both senior housing projects with 130 to 150 units. Trinity Union is a 457-unit apartment and townhouse urban loft project that sits on a 19-acre lot at Heritage Ave on Highway 121.
