Tuff Seal’s hidden interlocking and joining systemenables the quick and easy installation of a stylish floorwith minimal effort. The tiles are sleek and attractiveand compliment a broad range of interior applications.

The “Tuff Seal” tile is a second generation design with asealing cavity located on the top lip of the tile joint.

Although adhesives are unnecessary in many light dutyapplications, it is recommended that the tiles are gluedto the subfloor. In dirty or high traffic environments it isrecommended that the special interlock glue is used, inaddition to the full spread adhesive.

This product measures 450 x 450 x 6.3 mm and isavailable in the Marquis pattern and in four attractivecolours. Dark Grey, Chocolate Brown, Terracotta andMushroom.

Pedestra was the first “Tuff Seal” design incorporating apatented hidden interlock and sealing system. This tile isdesigned for interior use and can be installed overvirtually any hard surface. The sealing cavity on thisdesign is found on the bottom lip of the tile joint.

The popular studded pattern is available in a range ofcolours while the attractive checkerplate pattern isavailable in both black and dark grey.

A visible interlock tile which enables each tile to be clipped into theadjoining one like pieces of a puzzle. They can be installed overwood, concrete and old tiles providing the subfloor is relatively hardand level.

It is possible in many applications to install these tiles withoutadhesive and using a few basic installation tools such as a rubbermallet, steel T-square and a sharp utility knife. Adhesive isnecessary in areas of high traffic, direct sunlight or rolling loads.

Exposure to solvents and oils over a longer period willdamage the characteristic of the tile.

Cleaning

Vacuuming is effective in cleaning loose surfacedebris.

In a wet maintenance program scrub or mop with aneutral detergent (ph 7-8.5). A limited amount ofwater is used and dirty water should be discardedregularly.

Due to the manufacturing process the tiles maydisplay a circular surface blemish. This is a visual effectthat is rectified by applying an acrylic sealer afterinstallation.

UV resistant, underfoot safety sheet for pedestrian and factory walkways, access ramps, gangways and bridges. The Silicone Carbide “gritted” surface isresistant to most solvents and chemicals and theyare easy to install by simply bonding or screwing thehard sheet to the existing surface.

Many of the our products require the useof adhesive. The three adhesives that we carry stockof is an acrylic adhesive, used for indooruse and mostly used with our vinyl floors.

The polyurethane adhesive can be usedboth indoors and outdoors and is suitablefor both vinyl and rubber. It is a verystrong adhesive and is recommended inareas of high traffic, direct sunlight or

heavy rolling loads. Lastly the Bokweldadhesive that is used at the joints of theTuff Seal and Pedestra tiles in areas ofhigh traffic, dirty environments or toimprove the water resistant seal.

Cleaning is very important to maintain the look of your floor. Wetherefore offer a range of specialized cleaning chemicals andequipment to help you do this. Traditional cleaning equipment suchas spaghetti mops and single use buckets are not always the answer.
