Delivery of rear seat entertainment system for various models of luxury and off-road vehicles.

Altran assisted with the implementation of the technology combining

management of fleet issues of the Entertainment system and working with

Suppliers to provide clear resolutions.

The Altran team was able to help its client to introduce the Rear Seat

Entertainment into its range of premium vehicles

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) In the objective to develop the ACC additional functions (ACC control function,

Cut-In behavior, Reaction to stationary objects, etc), Altran has participating

into the creation of new concepts by system requirements management for the

additional ACC functions.

The system was successfully tested on the test rigs and test simulators, the

new functionalities of system were very satisfying and the additional ACC

System functions were compliant with all required Automotive systems

development standards.

Vibrational analysis of a car radiator fixing system

During a developing process, Altran FEM analysis has allowed to improve

structural behavior of a system with a reduction of the developing time and

testing costs.

Virtual validation has been able to optimize the shape and stiffness of

mechanical systems in order to reduce the weight.

Innovative PowerLine Communication Tracer for a new e-mobility

To meet the challenges in the field of electric mobility, a team of Altran

consultants has designed the PLC Tracer, an innovative technological device

designed to verify system compliance between electric cars and charging-

stations.

Through this project, Altran is the facilitator between the various industrial

players involved, notably those in the energy and the automotive sectors where

standards are not yet defined.

eMOC, an electric modular and smart car Altran Spain has developed the eMOC (Electric Modular Car), a modular, smart

car designed to meet the new expectations of users, via external module

integration or removal, in terms of mobility, connectivity and sustainability.

Virtual Validation to perform CFD Analysis Altran CAE competence center has performed CFD analysis through steady

analysis, transient, fluid structural, combustion and mono dimensional analysis.

It allowed to generate a CFD thermal model in order to study and to optimize

the behavior of a truck under hood.

Engine Parts Architect for Innovative Gasoline powertrain

In the objective to study the whole architectures of small gasoline engines,

Altran had to design and realize prototypes of gasoline engines rapidly (re-

designed up to 75%), with the challenge to gather skills’ experts

(thermodynamics, thermics, dynamic parts…) to design robust and competitive

engines within short periods of time.

External Trim, for an efficient design In order to develop external trim plastic components, Altran had developed a

complete solution delivering CAD particulars and assembly finalized

engineering CAD models (Tool Making) and CAD Particular, Assembly and

Drawing finalized Production Maturity (Assembly Industrialization):

3D modeling on assembly structure manager; Assembly and sub Assembly

definition; structure creation, 2D creation; etc
