TENAX FASTENERS

The ‘TENAX’ fastener is a self-locking fastener which cannot come undone once engaged on its peg unless subjected to extreme force. A quick release is accomplished simply by pinching the head of the ‘TENAX’ button. All ‘TENAX’ components are non rustable, being made from non-ferrous materials (brass) which are nickel-plated. For over seventy years ‘TENAX’ fasteners have been used in some of the most demanding applications such as Aircraft, Motor, Marine, Coach, leather and other Trimming related industries. ‘TENAX’ is used for car soft tops and tonneau covers, pram covers, wet suits, parachute storage, loose covers, car carpets, bags and equipment cases, tents, canopies and awnings, to name but a few.
