BMW Golf Cup International 2015

BMW India started BMW Golf Cup International in India in 2009. This year also it has

commenced in Kochi and it will launch 16 more tournaments across 13 cities in India

including Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad,

Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Raipur, Lucknow, Greater Noida and Gurgaon.

Target audience: The existing and the prospective customer of BMW and industry

opinion leaders

Selection Process: BMW dealerships will choose golfers among its customers who

are interested in participating in the tournament

Schedule: The tournament has started from Kochi on 24th Jan 2015 and the final is

scheduled on 28th Nov 2015 in Gurgaon

Categories: A (for handicaps up to 12); B (for handicaps 13 – 28) and Ladies

Category (for handicaps up to 28)

Results: The national winners will come together at the BMW Golf Cup

International 2015 World Final. The venue for finals is not yet disclosed

Golf Clinics – Across all 14 cities, BMW dealerships will organize 8 –

10 Golf Clinics per city for the customers and prospects to practice and take

professional advice to improve their game

• This year it was conducted in Delhi & Bangalore

• Certified instructors were available for help and assistance throughout the drive

Highlights: Experiencing luxury first-hand. Offers the discerning customers a test-drive of their choice, get the car evaluation done, strike a special trade-in, and also get personalized finance offers. Exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandise will also be available at the venue

Luxe Stars: Vikas Khanna to whip up some exotic fares across 10 cities at the carefully curated Luxe Drive events. Participants can even get a master class with Vikas Khanna.

Mercedes Trophy – Amateur Golf Tournament

• Event: Mercedes Trophy is a worldwide premium golf tournament series for amateurs under the organization of Mercedes-Benz to promote golf playing and to be a meeting stage for customers of Mercedes-Benz.

• Inception: Year 2000, in New Delhi & currently spread to 13 cities across nation

• Highlights: This tournament gives an opportunity for amateur golfers who use Mercedes-Benz from around the globe to connect with each other  

Participants and their spouses were treated to champagne lunches on the golf courses

Mercedes Trophy finalists had an opportunity to experience the Mercedes-Benz brand at first hand. The itinerary included a visit to the Centre of Excellence at Mercedes-Benz India, a tour of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Chakan-Pune, and SUV test track drive experience.

The contest involves participants submitting their photos online in the first phase & subsequently there will be a grand prize winner

One lucky photographer will be chosen as the final winner of the competition and will drive home in a Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, which will be theirs for an entire year

The three best photographers from the face-off will join Mercedes team on a week long cross country road trip and a chance to photograph some stunning places along the way

30 photographers will each be given a Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 48 hours to photograph it in their own creative way

These 15 Nominees will join 15 external photographers & participate in a photographic face-off

15 nominees will be selected for the next round

Participants need to upload up to four of their best photographs to each of the five themes
