Anteneh GashawAbstract This innovation is a vehicle that can be stretched and compress with one push of a button or a sport car that can transform in to limousine and/or a limousine that can be transformed to normal/sport car. This is done using a modified car chassis and frame (1), hydraulic linear actuator (2), modified transmission shaft (3), modified car sit (4) and modified car body (5).Background of invention This invention is a normal or sport car that can be converted to limousine or family car and can be returned to its original state with one push of button. Prior art The previous methods of car stretching mechanism is simply cutting a car in half and insert a long structures in the car by welding. This system is irreversible to its original condition which is as it is manufactured. There is no mechanism for compressing a car or converting limousine into sport car. Therefore this design gives car multi functions that a sport car and limousine gives.Objective of invention The objective of the invention is building a multipurpose car in terms of space and comfort. Many cars are either luxury cars with small space or family/ non luxurious car with larger space. The new design gives the car both functions which the luxury and the family car give. This is done by stretching and compressing the car for more space. In other words, a car that can act as both luxury or sport car and a family car or a limousine. This is done by first inserting a rod linkage (1) on the chassis (1) that can be overlap to each other and also the frame (1) and the rod (1) are arranged the same as the chassis (1) and the rod (1). Next the front chassis (1) and the front frame (1) are welded together separately. Then the rear chassis (1) and the rear frame (1) are welded together separately leaving opening in the middle which is the space between the front and the rear part of the car. The front and rear is connected by the rod (1) by insertion. Then a hydraulic linear actuator (2) is fixed with the front chassis (1) in order to push and pull the rear chassis (1) or frame (1) of the car. The hydraulic linear actuator (2) can work both manually or electrically/automatically. When the chassis (1) and the frame (1) are pushed by the actuator (2) the transmission shaft (3) is pushed internally forcing it to extend. Then the transmission shaft (3) pushes the rear gearbox forcing the wheels to roll backwards. The roof (5) of the car is overlapped and is connected to the front (1) and the back frame (1) of the car. Which means the front roof (5) is fixed with the rear frame (1) and the rear roof (5) is fixed with the front frame (1) forcing to move along with the movement of the frame (1). Therefore the roof (5) is automatically closed when stretching is done. The middle body (5) is located at bottom of the front frame (1) or at the top of the front chassis (1) but fixed with the rear frame or chassis (1). This linkage forces the body to move along with the direction of the rear frame (1) reaching at the middle when the rear frame (1) reach at its maximum back ward movement. Then manually the driver can pull out the body (5) and connect it with the car when stretching is done.To change the stretched car to its initial state all is needed is reversing the above mechanism with one push of a button after the body is manually disconnected like side door.
