All about the Toyota Etios Liva

Toyota Etios Liva is a five door Sedan and a Hatchback manufactured by the Toyota India

since 2010. Apart from India, the Liva is launched in the South Africa, Brazil and

Indonesian automobile markets. In the year 2013, Toyota had made certain renovation and

face lifted the Toyota Etios Liva. The Etios Liva was first unveiled in the 10 th Auto expo

show at New Delhi. Toyota Etios Liva is found in four different variants namely the J, G, V

and VX trim levels and the market trend remains pretty challenging for the Toyota Etios

Liva as it is facing the other strong cars like the Hyundai i10, i20, Maruti Swift, Ford Figo.

Exterior Features

Toyota Etios Liva comes in a dimension of 3775 mm Length, 1695 mm Width and 1510 mm

Height. The exterior is done with minor alteration in the front with new and vibrant front

grille that enhances the entire look of the car. The side profile gets a 12-spoke alloy

wheel. The other minor additions to the exterior appearance are the presence of the

electronically adjustable mirrors, rear combi lamp, and a new premium pearl exterior color

Interior Appearance

The “home outside home” concept worked well for the Toyota. The entire cabin space looks

and feels with good quality and beautiful finish. The interior of the car is very spacious

with the presence of a premium fabric seats and new wooden arm rest and height

adjustable driver seat. The pleasantry inside the car is increased by the presence of a

powerful air conditioning system with vents and blows. The other additional features are

the presence of the adjustable front seat head rest, 13 L cooled glove box, LCD fuel

indicator, new digital clock, seat belt buzzer, 2 new rear speakers along with the 2-DIN

audio player, Bluetooth connectivity , USB port and other smart apps.

Engine System and Safety measures

Toyota Etios Liva gets powered by 3 types of engine system. The 1.2-litre petrol engine

gives out 79 bhp power and 104 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre petrol produces maximum

power of 89 bhp and 132 Nm of torque. The diesel mode gets a 1.4-litre engine that churns

out 67 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. All the system works with a five speed manual

transmission gear boxes. The safety features of the Toyota Etios Liva are the presence

of the standardized dual front air bags, new reverse parking sensors, good McPherson

suspension system with the ABS with EBD parking system. Toyota Etios Liva gets a good

fuel economy of 17 kmpl.
