AUSTRALIAN JEWISH HISTORICAL SOCIETY
JOURNAL
Volumes 14-19
1997-2010
Cumulative subject index to major articles part 3
Compiled by Helen Bersten, OAM

HOW TO USE THIS INDEX
Articles are arranged under broad subject categories as indicated in the contents list.
Within these categories articles are arranged chronologically by volume with the
specific topic in bold type. The chronological order is interrupted only where several
articles refer to the same topic.
The author, general topic, organisation, personality, place and synagogue indices refer
directly to the physical volume of the AJHS Journal and not to pages in this
cumulative index.
This index is not as comprehensive as the online index as it does not include book
reviews or errata; however it gives full references for all entries.
An asterisk after a page number in volume 19 indicates the article can be found in part
4, which was accidentally numbered from 1-216 instead of 469-685.
