Not-for-profit organisation, resourced by its members, to advance employment opportunities for people with disability.

Assist members and clients to successfully engage with people with disability as employees, customers and as suppliers.

Current membership includes large corporations, small enterprises, State and Commonwealth Govt. and universities– 70 members employing around 800,000 staff or approximately 8% of Australian workforce.

Facilitate an employers’ network Develop workplace policies and procedures to build

business/workplace capability in disability confidence Assist organisations to implement the Employment Charter -

a set of 10 principles based on ILO standards Undertake a review of recruitment and selection practices Deliver training for staff, managers and HR staff Develop publications on relevant topics Provide an employer’s information line Organise events, seminars and breakfast briefings that

provide knowledge and networking opportunities. Offer mentoring and internships programs
