Free Sculpture Designing

Guido’s sculpture class will be a two part class, which will not be repeated . This is an

advance level class and you should have had some experience working with link-o loons

Learn how to create any sculpture you want in any thinkable size. Guido specializes in

designing large sculptures. In this class he shares the experiences he has gathered

worldwide over the years. Learn calculating 3D sculptures, simultaneous tapering,

bending, curving and “free drawing” with LINK-O-LOONS. Basic knowledge and experience

with LINK-O-LOONS is required. This is a two part class and neither will be repeated.

PART 1 - Guido will discuss and demonstrate simultaneous tapering, bending and

curving Link-O Loons as well as free drawing.

PART 2 - Guido will show you how to calculate 3D sculptures, how to organize and

sell large sculpture projects. If you have always shied away from sculptures or large

Enchanted Fantasy Décor Installation

Gunter is our theme designer for the convention and is renowned for thinking outside

the square. This year’s theme is Fantasy and Gunter will take you through his concept

from start to finish of his concept for the Hotel foyer large sculpture. This class will be

start on Sunday with the installation of the foyer areas and mezzanine level décor. If

you have never worked on a large scale event this hands on experience will provide youyou have never worked on a large scale event this hands on experience will provide you

with a wealth of knowledge and new skills. Hands on.

From little things big things will grow.

Gunter’s classes will be focused on the theming for our final night gala dinner. You will

learn how to make base platforms, bend and attach aluminium to bases. Create the trees

from trunks to the branches and foliage. If you don’t think you’ll be making a tree any time

soon, you will however have more opportunities to use the techniques you learn on all

sorts of décor items. If you know how it’s done you can then create your own designs

with confidence.

Oh my Darlin Column mine

Everyone makes columns, but not everyone will make them like this. Sometimes less is

more. Learn how to make a single balloon column with sway and swagger. It don’t mean

a thing if it ain’t got that swing. So let’s all have fun and make one. This will be a hands

on class using curved poles, single balloons and “S” curves on half arches. Learning how

to create a wall back drop using columns.

Fantasy Forest

No enchanted forest is complete without some fantasy plant creations, so let’s have

some more fun creating unusual flora. We will be making plants for around the tree
