HELLFIRE II
• Scope of Effort: Qualified design to monitor
captive carry hours of individual HELLFIRE missiles.
• Methodology: Integrate commercially available
data acquisition technology attached to deployed
missiles. These devices will record the captive carry
time and other data sets for each missile.
• Participants: AMRDEC, RTC, NSWC-Crane,
JAMS PMO, and OEM Contractor.
Where We Are Now
• Install on ~2,700 inventory missiles during RESET
• Captive Carry, Power On, High/Low Temp,
Drop/Shock
• Interface with ULLS-AE (earliest fielding May 2011)
• Data sent to platform data bus for collection and
transmit to JAMS Database (Romeo HMU – ver. 2)
• New ULLS-AE Forms (Missile & MDFR)
