Cut seven 2 ½” WOF strips for the binding. Cut six Template 1 diamonds. Cut ten Template 4 triangles.

Cut eight Template 1 diamonds. Fabric V- White - Marshmallow 5901-0733 4 1/8 yards

Cut four 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 2” x 63 ½” strips. Cut three 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut two 2” x 57 ½” strips. Cut one 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut the strip into four 3 ½” squares. Cut (168) Template 2 trapezoids. Cut eighty-two Template 3 triangles. Cut eighty-two Template 5 triangles.

Fabric W- Tossed Flowers – Blue 8449-0520 1/4 yard

Cut four Template 1 diamonds. Fabric X- Stars – Blue 8452-0510 1/4 yard

Cut four Template 1 diamonds. Backing- Dots – Pink 8353-0526 4 yards

Cut two 71” x WOF strips. Sew together and trim to make one 71” x 80” back.



Block Assembly Sew one Fabric B-Template 1 diamond and one Fabric A-Template 1dia-

mond together along one short side. Sew one Fabric A-Template 1 diamond and one Fabric B-Template 1diamond together along one short side. Sew the two strips together as shown in Figure 1 to make one Unit 1 block. Repeat to make three Unit 1 blocks total.

Using Y seams, sew one Fabric V-Template 2 trapezoid to each side of the Unit 1 block to make (1) Block One square. The square should measure 9 ½”. Re-peat to make (3) Block One squares to-tal.

Repeat Steps 1-2 and refer to Figures 3-14 for fabric identification, location and orientation to make three Block Two squares, four Block Three squares, four Block Four squares, four Block Five squares, three Block Six squares, three Block Seven squares, three Block Eight squares, three Block Nine squares, three Block Ten squares, three Block Eleven squares, four Block Twelve squares and two Block Thirteen squares.

Place one Fabric V-Template 3 triangle on top of one Fabric N-Template 4 triangle,

right sides together, aligning the left sides (Fig. 15). Sew the two triangles together along the left side. Press the smaller triangle open.

Place one Fabric V-Template 5 triangle on top of the Fabric N-Template 4 triangle, right sides together, aligning the right sides (Fig. 16). Sew the two triangles together along the right side. Press the smaller triangle open to make one side unit. Trim the block to measure 3 ½” square to make one Unit 2 block (Fig. 17).

Repeat Steps 4-5 to make six Unit 2 blocks total. Repeat Steps 4-5 and refer to Figures 18-30 for fabric identi-

fication, location and orientation to make six Unit 3 blocks, six Unit 4 blocks, six Unit 5 blocks, ten Unit 6 blocks, six Unit 7 blocks, six Unit 8 blocks, six Unit 9 blocks, six Unit 10 blocks, six Unit 11 blocks, six Unit 12 blocks, four Unit 13 blocks, four Unit 14 blocks and four Unit 15 blocks.

Sew nineteen assorted units together. Sew one 3 ½” Fabric V square to each end of the sewn strip to make the Top Border. Repeat to make the Bottom Border.

Sew twenty-two assorted units together to make one Side Border. Repeat to make a second Side Border.



Quilt Assembly (refer to the quilt layout while assembling the quilt top) Sew six assorted blocks together to make one row. Repeat to make seven rows total. Sew the seven rows together to make the Center Block. Sew one 2” x 63 ½” Fabric V strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew one 2” x 57 ½” Fabric V strip to the

top and to the bottom of the Center Block. Sew the Side, Top and Bottom Borders to the Center Block to make the quilt top. Layer and quilt as desired. Sew the seven 2 ½” x WOF Fabric Q strips together, end to end with 45° seams, to make the binding. Fold

this long strip in half, lengthwise with wrong sides together, and press. Bind as desired.
