Julia Margaret Cameron (June 11, 1815 – January 26, 1879) was a British photographer. She became known for her portraits of celebrities of the time, and for Arthurian and similar legendary themed pictures. Cameron's photographic career was short (about 12 years) and came late in her life. Her work had a huge impact on the development of modern photography, especially her closely cropped portraits which are still mimicked today.

He covered five different wars: the Spanish Civil War, the Second Sino-Japanese War, World War II across Europe, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and the First Indochina War. Capa documented the course of World War II in London, North Africa, Italy, the Battle of Normandy on Omaha Beach and the liberation of Paris.

Mark Seliger is an American photographer noted for his portraiture. Seliger served as the chief photographer for Rolling Stone from 1992 to 2002 [1] and shot more than 100 covers for the magazine.[2] Seliger currently lives in New York City, and works for Conde Nast Publications. He has shot a number of covers for GQ and Vanity Fair.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand, born March 13, 1946) is a renowned and internationally-recognised French photographer. He originally specialised in animal photography, but later turned to aerial photography of subjects in many locations across the world. He has produced over 60 books of his landscape photographs taken from helicopters and balloons. Yann Arthus-Bertrand's work has often been published in the National Geographic magazine.

Lauren Greenfield is an American documentary photographer, photojournalist, and documentary filmmaker. She has published three books of her work, and has been featured in a variety of magazines. Her photographs generally deal with issues relating to youth culture, gender identity, body image, eating disorder, and the influence of popular culture on how we live. In April 2005, American Photo Magazine named her, as a member of the VII Photo Agency, one of the top 25 photographers working today.
