Week of August 2 Please continue praying for fruitful follow-up from our completed Paris, Berlin, London, New York and Toronto campaigns. Pray that those who received the Lord will grow in their faith, and that those who gave contact information to hear more will be willing to meet with us. Budapest campaign continues with street outreaches through August 8. Please pray for strength and grace to finish this phase well, and for the follow-up team to be going full strength as our ad campaign continues. Pray that local Jewish believers will be enthusiastic to continue reaching out with us as a result of their campaign experience. As our Moscow campaign approaches, leaders Maxim Ammosov and Ilya Khaimovich would appreciate prayer to balance time needed for campaign preparations with time required for regular responsibilities. In particular, Maxim asks prayer for his online seminary studies. Ilya is fighting a battle regarding housing; he was illegally dropped from a waiting list to be able to purchase an apartment. (He currently rents.) Pray for a good outcome and that this will not distract from the Lord’s work. Pray for preparations for our Behold Your God (BYG) Israel campaign: that we will have good participation from local believers, and that leaders Vladimir Mitnitsky and Alexander Adelson will have wisdom and creativity, both for final preparations and throughout the campaign. Pray for campaigners to be spiritually prepared, i.e., ready to give their testimony, ready to be bold but humble in the face of opposition. Pray for open hearts among Jews and Arabs, that many will receive the gospel and/or want to learn more, and that there will not be conflicts with Hamas in the area. Please also pray for fruitful follow-up! Week of August 9 Budapest ad campaign ends August 15; please pray that God will use these ads for His glory to the end of the campaign, and that many people will see them and want to speak to us about Jesus. Week of August 16 Many campaigns are now over and a number of those who participated are experiencing a sort of “coming down” from a great experience with the Lord and with fellow campaigners; pray as they integrate back into everyday life, that God will sustain and solidify their sense of His purpose and presence in their lives. Week of August 23 Leaders of completed campaigns are in various stages of reporting and evaluating how the outreaches went; pray for wisdom to learn from what went well and what could have been better. Pray for continued follow-up from the completed campaigns, and that many people we meet would be willing to receive ongoing ministry from our missionaries, be it discipleship for new believers or exploring who Jesus is for seekers. This week-by-week prayer calendar will help you pray for most of our summer outreaches worldwide in “real time.” However, due to opposition, we would rather not announce the actual dates or place of our Behold Your God (BYG) Israel campaign. So you’ll find the team’s specific requests in the first week of August and the second week of September, regardless of when that particular campaign is taking place. We appreciate your prayers for this strategic outreach, and know that our eternal God who hears our prayers before we even speak them will answer your prayers for BYG Israel in just the right time! Week of August 30

• When much is being ventured for the Lord, there is often an aftermath of “spiritual backlash” that would threaten to rob us of joy, intimidate us, distract us or threaten our unity. Pray for our staff to keep our focus on the Lord, that His joy would be our strength, and that our staff might be characterized by the fruit of His Spirit.

• Pray for last-minute details for our Moscow campaign to come together.

Week of September 6

• Pray for preparations for our Behold Your God (BYG) Israel campaign: that we will have good participation from local believers, and that leaders Vladimir Mitnitsky and Alexander Adelson will have wisdom and creativity, both for final preparations and throughout the campaign.

• Pray for those who will be coming to the Moscow campaign from out of the country, that they arrive in good time and are able to adjust to the various changes before campaign begins.

Week of September 13

• Moscow campaign training is September 14–16 for first-time campaigners: pray they will be quick to learn and confident to put what they learn into practice.

• The rest of the Moscow team will be on a regular campaign schedule; please pray for a strong sense of unity as teams come together.

• Please pray for God to hold back the rain that is typical in this season during the times we want to be out on the street.

• With Rosh Hashanah beginning at sundown on September 13, please pray for many Jewish people to attend our High Holiday services in Moscow and in all our branches worldwide.

Week of September 20

• As our Moscow campaign continues; please pray for strength, endurance and blessing for our chief steward Reggie Douglas (who came from the U.S.)

• Pray for our chaplain Stephen Pacht (leader of our Geneva branch) to connect well with our campaigners and be able to minister to their spiritual needs.

• Pray that our time on the streets of Moscow will be effective in reaching Jews and Gentiles for Jesus, and that we’ll see many divine appointments that lead people to saving faith.

• Yom Kippur begins at sundown on September 23; please pray for many Jewish people to attend our High Holiday services in Moscow and in all our branches worldwide.

• This campaign ends September 26; please pray the team finishes on a strong and joyous note.

Week of September 27

• With the Moscow campaign over, please pray for fruitful follow-up.• Pray as our staff and volunteers transition back into their usual daily lives.• Continue to pray for us to be responsive to God’s Spirit and leading as summer is over and many

of our branches will shift gears. Pray for our campus outreaches, our one-on-one visits, and remember, many of the people we pray with to receive the Lord are referred to us by Christian friends like you!
