    HE DOG was filmed over the course of a 10-year period byco-directors Allison Berg and Frank Keraudren, and interweav-ing extraordinary archival footage on the robbery, 70s erainterviews and the early gay liberation movement in whichTe Dog played an active role, the documentary capturesthe many sides of John Wojtowiczs larger-than-life persona: heis, by turns lover, husband, soldier, lover, activist, New Yorker,mamas boy and bank robber.

    In DOG DAY AFERNOON, Al Pacino plays Sonny, a

    harried little guy who is knocking over a bank so the love of hislife - future FRIGH NIGH vamp Chris Sarandon - can geta sex change operation. Sonny hasnt told his wife, who findsout when the robbery turns into a hostage standoff that lightsup the evening news. Cazale is Sal, Sonnys dimwitted partner,

    whos just trying to get through it all.

    THE DOG (2014)Coming of age in the 1960s, John Wojtowicz took pride inbeing a pervert. His libido was excessive even by the libertinestandards of the era, with multiple wives and lovers, both

    women and men.

    In August, 1972, he attempted to rob a Brooklyn bank tofinance his lovers sex-reassignment surgery. Te attemptedheist resulted in a fourteen-hour hostage situation that wasbroadcast on V. Tree years later, Pacino portrayed his char-acter instigating the unforgettable crime on the big screen. Teaward-winning film had a profound influence on Wojtowicz,

    when he emerged from prison six years later, he became knownas Te Dog.

    Filmed over the course of a 10-year period by co-directors Al-

    RESERVOIR DOGS (1992, 35mm)In 1992, moviegoers got a glimpse of what writer/directorindie film god Quentin arantino could do. Te film unfoldsin the now famous arantino non-linear style, which utilizesflashbacks to maximum effect both in story and character, andencompasses his flair for cinematic homage and energy. Tecombination is a film that can be appreciated by a multitude ofviewers, from hardcore cinephiles to those just looking to havea good time. Tats a given assumption today with the films ofarantino, but in 1992 it was very fresh and refreshing to see afilm that was unpretentious, yet controlled and stylish.

    STEEL MAGNOLIAS (1989)In this charming little parlor, you dont just get your hair andnails did-- you get life lessons from some of the best and sassiestactresses to ever grace the screen. Without SEEL MAGNO-LIAS, how would you know that there are so many differentshades of pink (including Blush and Bashful), or that all gaymen have track lighting? Confused andsad, Babe is adopted by a friendly dog and slowly adjusts to hisnew home. Discovering that the fate of most pigs is the dinnertable, Babe devotes himself to becoming a useful member of thefarm by trying to learn how to herd sheep.

    CORPSE BRIDE (2005)When an arranged marriage between Victor Van Dort andVictoria Everglot reaches the rehearsals, Victor starts to worry.Spending time alone in the forest, Victor decides to practiceon his own. Everything seems to go well, until he accidentallyputs the ring upon the hand of a corpse. Before he knows it,Victor is in the land of dead and now has a corpse bride. Whilsteveryones worries about who Victoria will marry in the land ofthe living, Victor desperately finds a way to get back.
