Service is expected to be available by early 2022, following construction of fiber optic networks that will serve all the residents of both communities. Members in Sandwich and Acworth can pre-order for service, read more about service offerings and follow project updates at www.NHBroadband.com. We know that inability to access reliable high-speed internet is an immense burden on our unserved and underserved members. NHEC is working with partners to identify funding opportunities and evaluate different partnerships. Our goal is to develop a partnership that will allow us to move quickly and efficiently to ensure all our members’ have access to the high-speed internet they need. Keep Your Cool at Home with Heat Pumps The dog days of summer are here. Keep cool and save money on high efficiency heat pumps. NHEC has incentives that puts this technology within reach of most homeowners. HIGH EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMPS Cooling in the summer and heating in the winter…for up to 50% less. If you’ve been planning to install a heat pump system, NHEC can help. Rebates from $500 to $1,000 per ton let you make the switch to heat pumps for as little as $6,000 for a typical 2.5 ton residential system. Help for Members in NeedFinancial stress has been one of the biggest challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. There are state, local and NHEC programs that can help.

NH Fuel Assistance Program (FAP) State program now accepting applications for the 2021-22 heating season. FAP provides benefits up to $1,575, depending on household income and energy costs. Can also secure an emergency delivery of fuel. To apply, contact your local Community Action Agency (CAA). If you need help locating the agency in your area, call 211 for additional information.

NH Electric Assistance Program (EAP)State program that provides discounts up to 76% on your electric bill, depending on household size and income. To apply, contact your local Community Action Agency (CAA).
