Each year we ask the question – how are we doing? – and we try to answer that in our annual State of the Community Report. Presented by Triangle Community Foundation and produced by the Partnership for a Sustainable Community, the State of the Community Report tracks the well-being of Chapel Hill-Carrboro along social, economic, and environmental indicators. Join us for a hot breakfast and hot topics, 7:30-9:30 a.m., Thursday, August 27 at the UNC Friday Center, and learn how our community stacks up.

You can find the State of the Community Report from past years at our SlideShare account (slideshare.net/carolinachamber), but you won’t want to miss our President and CEO Aaron Nelson dig into the data at this year’s event. Visit carolinachamber.org/events to register online, or email Chela Tu at [email protected].

You may well know her already as a Chamber member and Ambassador, but we’re excited to announce that Lisa Weistart has joined our team! Lisa is equipped and ready to bring you the best in Chamber benefits and help you get more out of your membership, including connecting you with two unique member benefits:

• In July, we announced an innovative member benefit from RelyMD. The service gives you and your employees access to urgent care doctors from home, office or anywhere - 24/7/365. Find out more at relymd.com/carolinachamber.

• Your Chamber also offers an innovative service for North Carolina exporters called eCertify. Exports often require a certificate of origin to be processed by a chamber of commerce. What used to take hours now takes minutes, and exporters never have to leave their office. eCertify allows our team to process certificates of origin in just a few clicks, saving exporters valuable time and money.

Need help figuring out how to take advantage of the many exclusive Chamber benefits available to you – workers’ comp insurance, credit card processing, Lenovo computers, office supplies, or payroll processing? Just ask Lisa!

Contact her at [email protected] or (919) 345-0001 to learn more about RelyMD, eCertify, or any of the member benefits that could help your business save money.

PRIMETIME Business Expo – Sept. 10 at UNC Friday Center Showcase your business with a booth at the PRIMETIME Business Expo presented by Michelin Tire and hosted by The Friday Center! This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of Orange County’s largest business expo. Booth spaces are filling up fast, so be sure to secure your table for this fun and interactive event that is free and open to the entire community! Find more information about PRIMETIME at carolinachamber.org/PRIMETIME.

Performance Golf Classic – Sept. 28 at Governors Club Don’t miss your chance to sponsor a hole at the 2015 Performance Golf Classic! Enjoy beautiful weather and scenery, all while dis-playing your goods on the golf course to more than 100 golfers in this day-long tournament. Mark your calendars and reserve your hole at our annual golf event. Find more information about the Performance Golf Classic at carolinachamber.org/golf.

Need more information or want to sign up? Contact Aubrey Fox Williams at (919) 967-7076 or [email protected].
