FROM THE DISTRICT MANAGERWe are going to a San Diego Chargers game! Hopefully you are one of the lucky 30 couples joining us for tailgating and the game against the Dallas Cowboys on August 7th. This is the first time we are taking a group to a football event and we hope it is successful. Are you getting our emails to make sure you sign up for the many activities we offer our residents for free? If you need to update your information, please contact our office as soon as possible.

REFERRAL PROGRAMDo you have friends that may need housing? Refer them to Stuart Mesa and you earn $500!! It is never too early to start saving for Christmas or your next vacation!! Applicant must fill out a referral card with current Stuart Mesa resident’s name on it BEFORE being placed on the wait list. The biggest compliment you can give us is to refer your friends. Therefore, help us and help yourself to some extra cash!

MAINTENANCE TIPIf you would like to paint a room or accent wall in your home, please submit a written request to our office first along with an example of the paint color you want to use. Upon vacating the home residents will be required to restore the home to the original condition. This will consist of priming the walls to ensure that the paint does not bleed through as well as painting the rooms back to their original two -tone color. Failure to comply will result in charges accessed to have the color restored by Lincoln Military Housing or an approved vendor.

DOG OWNERSHIPWe receive daily complaints regarding dogs not been properly cared for and causing issues in the community. The complaints include excessive barking, dog feces not been picked up, and dogs been tethered and left unattended. Dog ownership is not just a privilege-it’s a responsibility. These animals depend on us for, at minimum, food and shelter, and deserve much more. If you are considering taking a dog into your life, please think seriously about the commitment that dog ownership entails. If you already have a dog, please consider whether or not you are fulfilling all your obligations as its owner.
