All-Church Gathering: Sunday, August 25, Following Worship Mountain View will look to soon bring closure to our long discussion on LGBTQ inclusion. All are encouraged to attend an all-church meeting following worship on August 25 to hear a final report on our welcoming statement and continue the dialogue. All questions will be welcomed and snacks will be served. Interfaith Baseline March for Unity: Sunday, August 25, 4:00 pm Meet the interfaith Lemon Tree Group at Second Baptist Church, 5300 Baseline Road. Walk along Baseline Road to Congregation Har HaShem, 3950 Baseline, rain or shine. This walk is family friendly, wheel chair accessible, with ASL. Vans will drive people back to Second Baptist Church about 6:00 pm. Join Pastor Stephanie as representatives of Mt. View in serving refreshments at Mohawk and Baseline. Marchers may help serve. August Collection: Peanut Butter You can help the Wesley Foundation students feeding the hungry homeless. Please only bring smooth peanut butter and put it in the collection basket in the Narthex. The Intentional Faith Development committee can act as your funnel for ideas for spiritual growth and discipleship. Let us know your idea and we will let you know the logical next steps. View ladies of about age 50 or older (single or not) and their friends are welcome.
