Q. What’s your go-to?
A. Being a florist I gravitate towards floral prints – I keep thinking I should mix it up, but I love that they look and feel so feminine. Q. How do you decide on an outfit each day?
A. My days are really varied. I could be in the office, meeting clients, or on a farm checking out flowers and speaking to suppliers. I need to wear things that, whatever the environment, I’ll feel confident and capable in.
I love wearing a pair of skinny jeans, a neutral shirt, a colourful blazer and a pair of ankle boots with a slight heel. Easy, yet professional and a pop of colour to reflect my personality.

This month we’ve been talking to Courtney Russell, founder of Daily Blooms. Despite juggling Mum duties and managing a growing business, Courtney always looks effortlessly stylish. Whether she’s sorting out flower deliveries in the warehouse or meeting clients – Courtney has mastered the art of 10 minute dressing. Q. Do you have a go-to formula for getting dressed? How do you get it right in 10 minutes?
A. Absolutely! Mornings are frantic so I’ve streamlined my dressing ritual. A basic black, white or grey singlet or t-shirt, then I build from that. If I’m feeling creative (and organised!) I prepare outfits with accessories and hang them at the end of my wardrobe for the coming week. I tend to do this when I know I have a busy week of meetings, travel or seriously early starts.

I wear denim – both day and night. Denim is my go-to. My wardrobe is full of a variety of styles, from shirts and jackets, to skirts and jeans.
Denim always looks – relaxed but neat. I love to smarten up my denim with a pair of heels.
Denim makes me feel – comfortable, but put together. There’s nothing like the perfect fitting denim and these jeans are exactly that.
