L’été est chaud sur la côte.

« L’insolente » profite du vent

balayant son visage. Elle ferme

ses paupières quelques instants

et se surprend encore à rêver.

La liberté, la chaleur et le son

de sa voix, où l’emmène-t-il ?

Loin des lumières de la ville, il lui

raconte des légendes, elle rit, ils

s’embrassent et elle se sent plusvivante.

Il est acteur, il voulait qu’elle se

sente comme dans ses films.

Mais elle, elle y croit. Tout le

monde sait que c’est de la

comédie. Et après ce couché

de soleil magique, « l’insolente »

apercevra-t-elle les étoiles ?

The summer is hot on the East

coast. “The insolent” enjoys the

blow of the wind on her face.

She closed her eyelids for a

moment and suddenly she fell

again into her dreams. The

freedom, the heat and the

sound of his voice. Where is he

going with her ? Far from the

lights of the city. He talks about

legends, she laughs, they kissedand she becomes more alive.

He is an actor. He would like

that she feels like she is in his

movie. She believes in it, but

everybody knows it’s such a

comedy. After this magic sun

set, can “the insolente” see the

stars ?

Cristina

Yakov.

multifaceted artist who

evolves and develops

her art world with her

voice, her hands, her

personality and from

there comes out beauty..Editor : Dany Cadonna

" At first, I wished to

study in a school of jazz

in Switzerland. The cost

of registration was very

expensive. Because of

this I turned to fashion

design and continued

to compose my music.”

Cristina Yakov put out

her first music album

"opus 22" in April 2015.

The recording of which

took place in the

Caravel Production.

She made us

rediscover jazz with

rock influence. “

If music does not allow

her to survive, sewing

clothes allows her to

continue on to be an

artist in the musicworld.

"I want to make

clothes for artists

whose creations

are expressed and

not like empty

people."

At the age of 8, her

"first design creation"

came out. It was only

for the pleasure of her

grandmother and from

fabrics called more

collectively, curtains.

When Cristina Yakov

was 14 years old, she

was a fan of the music

metal group HIM and

spent hours in front of

the TV watching Viva

channel. She waited

patiently for the

broadcasting of their

clip-video.

"I pierced my

tongue in a bus

stop!" [laughter]

She discolored her

hair, made her eyes

intensely dark with

black varnish that

stood out in this Rock

period. Cristina also

talks about the crazy

things she did with her

great friend.

"I remember doing

pranks on my great

friend in middle school.

We blocked the toilet

bowl with some

newspaper to piss off

everybody".

Later on, Cristina Yakov

began modelling

though her first dream

was to be behind the

camera. However,

these expe-riences

brought her contacts in

the world of

photography. Some

girls said to her “to be a

model is stupid.”

" It was not that

the girls hated

me, it was me

who did not like

them. "

Cristina also confides

that she had some

difficulty making

friendship with the girls.

Between the jealousy

and the gossips,

Cristina felt uncomfor-

table with girls.

Today she has created

her own fashion design

collections that now

sells under her brand

name. Cristina Yakov

has a fascinating world

in visual art, fashion

and music.

«Au départ, je souhaitais

faire des études dans une

école de jazz en Suisse.

L’inscription était très

cher. Je me suis alors

tourné vers la création de

vêtements tout en

continuant à faire de la

musique.»

Cristina Yakov a sorti son

premier album «opus 22»

en avril dont

l’enregistrement s’est

déroulé à la Caravelle

Production. Elle nous fait

découvrir le jazz avec

des influences de rock.

Si la musique ne lui

permet pas de vivre, la

couture lui donne

l’opportunité de travailler

dans le monde musical

en créant leurs tenues.

«Je veux faire des

vêtements pour

des artistes qui

ont des choses à

exprimer et non

pas pour des

personnes vides.»

C’est à l’âge de 8 ans

que ses «premières

créations» voyaient le

jour. Elles étaient

uniquement pour le plaisir

de sa grand-mère et

faites avec des tissus que

l’on appelle plus

communément, des

rideaux.

Quand Cristina Yakov

avait 14 ans, elle était fan

du groupe de métal

alternatif HIM et elle

pouvait passer des

heures devant la chaîne

Viva en attendant

impatiemment la

diffusion de leur clip-

vidéo.

«Je me suis percé

la langue à un

arrêt de bus !» [ rire]

Les cheveux décolorés,

les yeux maquillés

intensément et son vernis

noir ont marqué sa

période Rock. Cristina

nous parle également de

ses dites conneries

qu’elle faisait avec une

de ses super amies.

«Je me rappelle des 400

coups que j’ai fait avec

ma super amie au

collège. On avait

bouché les toilettes avec

du papier journal pour

faire chier le monde».

Plus tard, Cristina Yakov

commençait le

mannequinat même si sa

première envie était

d’être derrière l’objectif.

Cette première appro-

che lui apportait des

expériences et des

contacts dans le monde

de la photo. Certaines

filles lui disaient qu’être

mannequin insinuait que

l’on était stupide.

«Ce n’était pas les

filles qui ne

m’aimaient pas,

c’était moi qui ne

les aimais pas.»

Cristina nous confie

également qu’elle a

rencontré quelques

difficultés avec ses

relations avec les filles.

Entre la jalousie et les

gossips, Cristina ne se

sentait pas à sa place

dans les groupes de filles.

Aujourd’hui, elle créé ses

propres collections. Elle

fait de son nom une

marque et elle vend son

image ainsi que ses

créations. Cristina Yakov

est un univers fascinant

où l’on retrouve l’art

visuel, la mode et la

musique.

EN) I am an illustrator

photographer by training.

In this type of photography,

I work on films to develop

the sharpness of the grain

and light. This inspiration

came from the year of 70’s

and 80’s. At the moment, I

have my Lolli Pop concept

store where there is the

fusion of art and fashion. It

allows me to collaborate

with several name brands

which accessorized my

photoshoots creating my

own ambiance.

J’aime travailler la

photographie sur pellicule

pour la finesse du grain et

de la lumière. Je puise mon

inspiration dans les années

70’s et 80’s ! Actuellement,

je tiens un concept store

où se mêlent art et mode.

Cela me permet de

collaborer avec plusieurs

marques et d’accessoirisé

mes shootings afin de créer

ma propre ambiance.

(EN) My name is Andrea Brotschi, I'm Swiss and born in Solothurn. Right now I

live in Zürich with my boyfriend. I have 1 sister, 2 brothers and I love my family.

I began my apprenticeship in an accounting office and worked in the same

industry for 3 years.

In 2008, I won 3rd place in Miss Solothurn competition. From there, I did some

modeling jobs and by the end of 2013 I made modeling a fulltime career. I

had shows at Fashion Week of Berlin and Zürich, walked for HEAD Geneva,

Bogner, Redken, IRO Zürich, Marco Polo, and many more.

Currently, I worked for clients like Akris, Metro Boutique, Tag Heuer

(Baselworld), Bulgari (events and Baselworld), Little Black Dress and

showrooms for Cucinelli, Marco Polo and Replay.

My mother agency is Option Model Management in Zürich and with another

agency in Hamburg and in Milano. I love my work as a model because it

gives me opportunities to travel and work with different people in different

locations all over the world. I like to be in different roles but the most

important thing is to be yourself with confidence. Love yourself and love what

you do.

In my freetime I spend time with family and friends, travel, bike rides,

snowboarding and playing volleyball.

I'm happy to be in this new editorial of Dazhell. I wish you guys a lot of

success.
