Wednesdays: Bible Study: Saint Patrick’s Seniors Group Time: 9:00—11:00 am , St. Vincent de Paul Café Summer Break in effect—study resumes on September 11th.

RCIA (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults) The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a weekly program from October through June that introduces adults to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Classes are on Thursday nights from 7:00pm – 9:00 pm beginning October in the St. John Paul II Boardroom. Please contact Conchita if you are interested.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD (LWC) Simplified Sunday readings and explanation for children aged 3-7. LWC is offered during Sunday Masses (9:00 am, 11:00 am & 5:00 pm only) and is designed for children able to attend without parental supervision, thus enabling parents to participate in the regular Liturgy of the Word. We are looking for parent volunteers— please contact the parish office if you would be interested in volunteering. Please note, that due to the Summer break, LWC will resume in September!

(Religion Classes for Children in Public school) Religion classes for children ages 6 and above who are preparing to receive the sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation. Classes take place every Wednesday from 7 to 8:15 pm in the Recreation Centre. Registration for the 2019/2020 school year is now open. A photo copy of baptismal certificate is required for new students!

“DINNER WITH 12”:A BLESSING OF PARISH FAMILIES Our parish needs to continue to build its discipleship; and in order to do that, we need to continue to build relationships with one another! Our new “Dinner with 12” program, provides opportunities for parishioners to connect with their parish priests in the homes of parishioners (rather than restaurants). We invite you to choose a time (options below) and a home to gather a couple of families (or a group of friends) to share in a meal as a simple potluck supper. At the end of the meal, the priests will provide a special blessing for all those gathered! Suggested number of participants : 12 (including children).
