Public visits are suspended until a new facility is constructed,  but wild animal patients can be dropped off 7 days a week between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. About Audubon of Martin County

Our Audubon chapter is a non-profit conservationorganization whose mission is: to:

To conserve and restore natural ecosystems, fo-

cusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biologi-cal diversity. 

The organization was founded in 1965 and is a certi-fied chapter of the National Audubon Society. Ouroffice is located at 621 SE Palm Beach Road, Stuart,adjacent to our Possum Long Nature Center.

AoMC offers members and volunteers a variety of opportunities to become involved in our educationaland environmental advocacy programs. Volunteers arewelcome and encouraged to participate in activitiessuch as:

Providing educational programs to interestedgroups throughout the community,

Providing meaningful, science-based input as a dvo-cates for the environment at the local, regional,state and federal governmental levels,

Providing information on legislative issues of envi-ronmental significance, and

Assisting in staffing the Audubon office and in man-
