Diodenleitungen
The term “diode cables” is arelict from early days of HiFi-technology when valves wereused in the output sections ofamplifiers.
Today diode cables are thename for cables for recordingand/or play connections be -tween stereo components.
Because of the high inputimpedance cables with lowcapacitance are necessary to avoid a decrease in thehigher fre quency range.
The product range is from 1 to8 core constructions, each witha low-capacitance PE-insula-tion and single core copper-wire-screening.
The cross sections of thecores are between 0.08 mm2
and 0.14 mm2.

Microfone cables link microfones to mixer consoles, amplifiers or a soundcard.
The cables are designed toachieve a transmission of audiosignals or the complete audi-ble frequency range almostwithout distortion or other dis-turbances. The prerequisite forthis aim is an adequate cableconstruction and a capaci-tance1) as low as possible.
Typically they have one core(asymmetric connection) or twocores (symmetric connection),each type with an overallscreen.
Microfone cables
Our program range leads frommini cables with only 2.2 mmouter diameter to colour-coded,non-crush but neverthelesshighly flexible cables for pro-fessional music equipmentand herewith covers nearly all possible applications.
The cross sections range from0.14 mm2 to 0.75 mm2.
1) The max. cable length can be calculated by this value.

Vieladrige (engl.

Multicore-Kabel(PiMF)
Multi-core cables connectstage boxes with mixer conso -les and PA-amplifiers.
Predominant designs arethose with low capacitanceand screened balanced con-structions (“PiMF”). With thesecables extensive transmittinglines are possible. Due to thespecial stranding, internal andexternal disturbances aremost ly eliminated.
Another field of use is inrecording studios and in professional broadcasting/TVtechniques.
The series Li2Y (PiMF-F) n x 2 x 0.6 mm ALF-PVC isused in analogue signal trans-mission in recording studios or by musical artists.
For a high-quality and bit error free transmission the series Li02Y (PiMF-H) n x 2 x 0.48 mm (F) C (Z)-FRNC for movingapplications or Cu02Y (PiMF-H) n x 2 x 0.60 mm (F) C (Z)-FRNC for fixed installation has beendesigned.

Lautsprecherleitungenmehrkanalig (4-/8-adrig)(LSR . . .)
Bei diesen Konstruktionen sind2 bzw. 4 Signalwege in einerLautsprecherleitung integriert.
 Loudspeaker cables connectamplifiers and loudspeakers.
The cross section of the coresshould be as big as possibleto be able to transmit even highpower rates without distortion, and to attenuate the electro-physical response of the loud-speaker by a low resistance ofthe amplifier.
The following diagram showsthe power loss in dependenceof cross section and cablelength.
Depending on the cablingrequirements, different designsmay be used:
Standard loudspeaker cables(LSP. . .)
Our standard series containsfig ure-8-cables from 2 x 0.50 mm2 up to 2 x 6.00 mm2
with economic core construc-tions. These cables can beused universally.
Loudspeaker cables
High flexible loudspeaker cables(LSP. . . hfl)
Within this series cables canbe found fulfilling highestdemands concerning flexibilityand optical appearance.Altough having big cross sec-tions from 2 x 1.50 mm2 up to 2 x 16.00 mm2, these cablescan easily be handled. 4-core-cables may be used for bi-wiring, bi-amping, and for car-HiFi.
Coaxial loudspeakercables, high flexible(LSX . . . hfl)
Coaxial, high flexible loud-speaker cables are predomi-nantly used in music electron-ics. They are tailored to therough stage application withits permanent uncoiling andrecoiling, stressing, bending, and crushing. Connectors forthose bedea cables (6.35 mmjack/XLR plug) are commercial-ly available.
Twinaxial loudspeaker cables(LSR . . .)
The main applications for thisseries is music electronics, too.Due to the double insulationdesign (core/jacket), soundperformances in the 100-V-technology may be installed.
Multichannel loudspeakercables (4/8 cores)(LSR . . .)
Within this construction, tworesp. four signal ways are inte-grated in one loudspeaker line. Thus, while installing high-end-PA-sets, the amount of cablescan be reduced or single loud-speakers may separately beconnected to discrete ampli-fiers.
