Removing and installing spoiler lip

Removing

–Starting at outer edge, carefully pull retaining tabs of spoiler lip -1- out of spoiler mounting -2--arrows-.

– Detach spoiler lip.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing and installing spoiler lip and spoiler mounting

Removing

– Remove bumper cover (front) → Chapter.

– Lift securing tabs -2- on back of spoiler mounting and release retaining clips -1-.

– Carefully pull spoiler mounting -3- out of bumper cover -arrows- and detach.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

– Press on spoiler mounting until it engages audibly in bumper cover.

– Install bumper cover (front) → Chapter.

Removing and installing spoiler (bottom section) - R8 GT

Removing

– Remove bolts -1-.

–Pull spoiler (bottom section) -4- off bumper cover -3- in direction of -arrow-; retaining tabs -2- will be released automatically.

Installing

l Tightening torque → Anchor

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

–Fit spoiler (bottom section) -1- onto bumper cover -3-; guides -2- should engage in mountings.

–Slide spoiler (bottom section) on as far as stop, making sure that retaining tabs -4-click into place.
