The Auckland Chamber of Commerce is part of the Chamber Network across New Zealand and is here

Businesses currently connecting and empowering over 12,000 business decision makers in the

Auckland and Northern regions of the Chamber’s network.

Event Overview

The OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day is a one day Ambrose event that can accommodate 144 players,

hosted at New Zealand’s most prestigious golf course in the heart of the Hauraki Gulf - Gulf Harbour

Country Club. The popular Ambrose format allows all standards of golfers to mix and play together

with equal enjoyment irrespective of ability. The OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day is also a great way to

promote teamwork (with one score recorded per hole, minimising the amount of time spent searching

for lost balls!)

The day starts with registration followed by a shotgun start, with teams of four players completing 18

holes. Play concludes at about 4.30pm followed by a presentation and social event at the club house

which is a great way to network .

This year as a celebration to the 20th Anniversary of this event we will also be running a hole in one

competition that will be take place at the putting green at the front of the course.

Attendees: 36 teams of four, a mix of Auckland businesses

HOLE Sponsorship

This is a fantastic opportunity to get your company logo noticed at one of New Zealand’s top golf

courses, including hole flag branding. You will also receive full marketing exposure in the pre and

post-event activities, including professional photography, digital and social media activation, and in

OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day event marketing collateral.

Sponsorship: $1595 (excl. GST) per hole sponsorship. This sponsorship also includes donating

four prizes (which can be company product). They will be given to the top players for that hole. All

hole sponsorship includes the opportunity to submit a team complimentary, at no cost.

HOLE IN ONE Sponsorship

This is an exciting new addition to the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day. The “Hole in One” mini competition

will run on the putting green throughout the main golf competition.

Golfers compete on the putting green to sink a hole in one. As a valued sponsor, you will receive

exclusive branding rights on the green, including hole flag branding, the opportunity to display a

banner and showcase your brand to the business community. You will also receive full marketing

exposure in the pre and post-event activities, including professional photography, digital and social

media activation and in OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day event marketing collateral.

SUNSCREEN Sponsorship

We want to make sure all our golfers are protected from the hot sun! Do you have a sunscreen brand

that would benefit from the right kind of exposure at the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day?

the day as we make sure all teams receive their sunscreen supply. What a great way to reach your

Conditions of Sponsorship

IT IS AGREED THAT:1. The full term of the agreement is from the date of this document to 30 March 2017.

2. Auckland Chamber of Commerce will deliver to THE SPONSOR the Sponsorship Benefits as set out in this proposal for the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day

3. Payments will be made as follows:

Auckland Chamber of Commerce will invoice THE SPONSOR for the amounts due under this agreement and including such additional information as may be required under law or New Zealand Tax Guidelines to qualify as a tax invoice for the purpose of GST.

4. Auckland Chamber of Commerce will design, manage and generally take responsibility for the public promotion, operation and delivery of the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day as part of its overall business activities. Auckland Chamber of Commerce agrees that all acknowledgements of THE SPONSOR in the promotion of the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day will conform to the reasonable policy, brand guidelines and instructions provided by THE SPONSOR. THE SPONSOR will provide the Auckland Chamber of Commerce with all relevant materials and guidelines as required.

5. The parties acknowledge that each party’s name and logo is the property of that party and that either party must not use the other party’s name and logo without prior written consent of that party. Signing of the Sponsorship Proposal constitutes THE SPONSOR’s consent for the Auckland Chamber of Commerce to use their logo in promotion of the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day, as outlined in the Sponsorship Proposal.

6. THE SPONSOR is given first right of sponsorship renewal for the OfficeMax Chamber Golf Day 2018.

7. Either party may terminate this agreement with immediate effect:

a. If the other party breaches any of the terms of this agreement and fails to remedy the breach within fourteen (14) days after receiving written notice requiring to do so; or

b. If either party goes into liquidation, is wound up, dissolved (except for the purpose of reconstruction or amalgamation), enters into a scheme of arrangement or is placed under official management or in receivership, in which case the other party may terminate the Agreement by giving fourteen (14)days written notice of their intention to terminate under the clause.

c. If either party, in the reasonable opinion of the other party comes into general disrepute or is the subject of criticism that may adversely reflect on the other party, or if there is any significant diminishment of integrity, professionalism or reputation of either party, then the other party may terminate this agreement by giving thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.

8. Upon termination of this agreement for any reason, each party will, at the request of the other party, return any sponsorship materials, advertising materials, confidential business materials or other sensitive materials to the owner of the materials.

9. Nothing contained or implied in this agreement constitutes a party, the partner, agent or legal representative of the other party for any purpose, or creates any partnership, employment agency or trust. Neither party has any authority to bind the other party in any way.

10. A party many not assign its rights under this agreement without the prior written consent of the other party.
