    WE SHALL NEVER FORGET

9/11 Remembrance Weekend 10 Year Anniversary

    Auburn, New York

September 11, 2011 will mark the 10 year anniversary of the terrorist attacks at the World TradeCenter in New York; the Pentagon in Northern Virginia; the crash site of United Flight 93 in

Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 people. The City of Auburn and our surrounding

community are united in an effort to come together to honor those who lost their lives and thosewhose lives were forever changed on that fateful day.

It is our intent to provide a means to reflect on and aid in healing for all who visit.

Simplicity, Respect, Honor and Dignity are four words which best describe the tone of the

scheduled events taking place the weekend of September 11th. With those words echoing in the

background, the 9/11-remembrance committee has organized the following events listed onpages 2 and 3.

This media release serves a reminder of this weekends upcoming event and to ask our local

media to cover the events as they deem appropriate. Interviews with our committee chairman,Terry Winslow can be scheduled beginning Thursday 09/08/2011. These events will proceed

    rain or shine.

Please see proceeding two pages for a list of the weekends scheduled events.
