The Ravenala Attitude is the first 4* All Suite hotel in Mauritius. Situated along the north-west coast of the island, nicely tucked away between sea and river in the middle of a luxuriant and exotic garden, with a majestic range of mountains in the background.

The hotel is a mix of colonial heritage, contemporary design with tropical accents and genuine Mauritian art de vivre. No boundaries, inside and outside flow harmoniously into each other. Here, indoors and outdoors merge blithely to everyone’s delight.

The 272 suites, Couples, Adults and Families are true reminders of the islands’ way of life: strokes of blue-grey, toile de Jouy fabric, woven rattan bedhead and on the wall, photos of typical scenes of Mauritian life. In the adult-only wing, all the suites overlook the Indian Ocean and face the sunset show every evening.

The hotel offers, for half-board and all-inclusive guests, a Dine Around experience in 7 of the 10 restaurants. Each restaurant has its own identity found both in the décor and on the plate. At meal time, a choice of destinations to match moods: seasidy atmosphere in the lounge-bar and at the beach restaurant at lunch time and in the evenings, trendy-factory spirit in the bar-restaurant, feel like a stopover in Italy or Asia or a romantic rendez-vous on Rivière Citron?

As a courtesy to the other guests and to our Family Members (team members), please do not turn up for breakfast, lunch or dinner with wet clothes, swimsuits and pareos.

After 18:30, no shorts, tank tops, singlets and flip flops are allowed in the restaurants. Gentlemen, please wear trousers or elegant Bermuda shorts. Ladies be always beautiful in casual chic.

• Lime, open at lunch and dinner with supplement. For guests staying in the adult-only wing with the All-in-All-out package, the lunch is included.

Attitude positions itself as a key local contributor to sustainable, ecological, cultural, economic and social development.

Through its Green Attitude Foundation (GAF), the Group shows its will to be a responsible partner in Mauritius’ sustainable development while offering a genuine island holiday experience to all its guests. Since December 2017, all Attitude Hotels have received the Travelife Gold Award, a program honoring their ongoing efforts in environmental and social responsibility as well as Green Attitude Foundation’s initiatives: water conservation, the Group’s commitment to local communities and the Otentik Attitude experiences that value local traditions and craftsmanship.

In collaboration with the NGO Reef Conservation, Attitude launched Nauticaz, an educational and interactive centre whose purpose is to show and protect the treasures of the island’s lagoons as well as support the Anse la Raie lagoon restoration project. René Heuzey, GAF Ambassador, is involved in the awareness to environment program set up in schools.
