The technology involved in the dispensing process must ensure, in a reliable and economical fashion, that the produced partsreceive the required properties.

A dispensing process which is perfectly tailored to the task at hand positively influences the ser-vice life of the manufactured parts. Irregularities in the process or inhomogeneous dispensing material, however, causes components to fail prematurely.

The Dos manual work stations usually comprise modules of different performance scopes to fulfil cer-tainprocessrequirements.Basicmodelsincludeamaterialpreparationorfeedingunitandameteringanddispensingunitonastand.Controlsforthedispensingsystemarealreadyfullyintegrated. The dispensing action is usually triggered via a foot switch.

Variants:A Dos system is not only available as a manual work station with a table stand. It can be easily modified into a stand-alone system with dispen-sing cell. Also, integration into existing produc-tion lines can be done with little effort.
