The Atlas-Landy Rake is designed to effi ciently clean bar racks. A carriage and loose grab run along a track supported by columns and a single unit can service multiple bar racks. The grab is constructed in such a way that the tines fall between the screen bars during lowering. As the grab descends it effectively removes debris from in between the bars. When reaching the bottom of the bar screen the grab will close hydraulically, after which the grab with the debris will be hoisted above the deck level to the upper position. The grab with debris runs along the track to the dump area. The overhead monorail design gives tremendous fl exibility to site specifi c demands and allows the screen deck to remain clear and clean of equipment and debris. The system can be installed to be run manually or fully automatic.
