Pixels: Progress on all aspects of the sub-system for 3 layers On
schedule (v. C.Meroni)
SCT: Module assembling of the 4 barrel cylinders ongoing B3 finished, tested, and is
now at CERN. 3/‰ dead channelsB5&B6 in time. B4 late. Recovery plan
TRT: All modules mounted and tested into support structure. Electronic and cooling partially installed

End Cap-C: All wheels produced. Stacking advanced and will terminate in April
End Cap-A: Stacking will start in May . Critical but “still ok”
C-type wheels remain staged (funding)It is possible that Atlas will never have C-Wheels ( Stop workshops, Materials etc.) If done insertion could be 2012 but than….
End-Cap SCT
End Cap-C : Disk 8&9 completed. Others are following. Tight but ok.
End Cap-A : Late by 5m. Recovery plan in construction

All 16 coils for both ECTs are impregnated (where 10 in Assisi), and the last ones will be delivered to CERN now.
Both ECT vacuum vessels have been at CERN since long, including thermal shields and super-insulations, as well as all components for the assembly of the first ECT
The cold mass (single) assembly for the first one (ECT-A) has started in Hall 191. Scheduled for cold mass completion in May, insertion into vacuum vessel in summer (on schedule), in the pit in March06. EC-C will follow. Completion in November 2005, in the pit in June06. No cryo test on surface

TGC end-cap trigger chamber production is nearing completion
Tooling available at CERN Preassembly starting in B180
72 TGC sectors and 32 MDT have to pre assembled from Q2 2005 to Q3 2006 (15 months)

Atlas Italia (giovani e meno giovani) è pienamente motivata
Abbiamo bisogno della vostra critica, ma anche del vostro pieno supporto (come già avuto ) per mettere a frutto il notevolissimo contributo dato fino ad oggi
