“Indoor racing is some of the mostintense you’ll ever see,” said Lou Cic-coni Jr. of Aston, Pa., who capturedhis second Gambler’s Classic title lastyear. “I know race fans will want to ex-perience the speed and tight competi-tion that happens when you are racingindoors.”

This will be a first for dirt modi-fied ace driver Danny Johnson, 50, ofPhelps, N.Y.

Let It Ride is easy to learnLet it ride is one of many

poker-based table games thathave proliferated on the casinofloor as poker itself has gainedin popularity. A variation ofFive Card Stud, the game offersplayers an opportunity to con-trol two of three bets.

The game is popularbecause it offers potentiallyhigh payouts. It’s also easy tolearn, according to the Borgatawebsite. Players do not go upagainst the dealer or any otherplayer. Their goal is to createthe best possible poker hand byusing their three cards and twocommunity cards.

There are three circles infront of each player on thetable. The circles are markedwith the numbers 1, 2 and $. Tostart the game a player placesthree equal bets in each circle. Each player and the dealerreceive three cards face down. The dealer discards one card,

leaving two, which becomecommunity cards used by allplayers.

In Let It Ride, players do notplay against anyone. Playerswin simply by forming pokerhands. After looking at theirthree cards, players have theoption to take back the bet incircle No. 1 or “Let It Ride.”Then the dealer will turn upthe first of the two communitycards. This card is used as thefourth card for all the players’hands.

Players now have the optionof taking back the second betor letting it ride. They may takedown the second bet even ifthey let the first bet ride.

After all the players maketheir decisions for the secondbet, the dealer will turn up thesecond community card. Thiscard completes the five-cardhand for every player. At thispoint the dealer will pay all thewinning bets.

Bets are paid on the follow-ing basis:

-royal flush: 1,000 to 1-straight flush: 200 to 1-four of a kind: 50 to 1-full house: 11 to 1-flush: 8 to 1-straight: 5 to 1-three of a kind: 3 to 1-two pairs: 2 to 1-pair of tens or better: 1 to 1.A royal flush is a hand of

A, K, Q, J and 10 of the samesuit. A straight flush is any fivecards in sequence in the samesuit. A full house is three of akind and two of a kind. A flushis five cards of the same suit. Astraight is five sequential cardsregardless of suit.

“It’s an entertaining breakfrom blackjack and othergames with the chance for a bigjackpot no matter how remote,”said Roger Gros, a gaminganalyst and publisher of GlobalGaming Business Magazine. ■
