Classes are 50 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted. Classes are offered on a first-come, basis only. To reduce the risk of injury and prevent class disruptions, no admittance will be allowed ten minutes after the class is scheduled to begin. Classes listed in the Fitness and Aquatics Program Schedule and are subject to change without notice. Schedules are available in all Kroc Center venues and at www.kroccenter.org. ON THE BALLA full body workout on the Swiss Exercise Ball, using light weights, Pilates method for core strengthening & stretching to upbeat music.

PUMP!Total body strength and conditioning class utilizing a variety of free weights and band resistance, all while keeping an up-tempo cardio pace.

CYCLE CROSS Half cycle & half Boot Camp- this 90 minute workout features the very latest in cross training! Cycle in the Kroc Center’s custom group cycling studio for 60 minutes, then head out for 30 minutes of leg toning, core strengthening, and upper body muscle building that will leave you pumped and perspiring.

CYCLE REWIND Group Cycling featuring your favorite tunes from years past and beyond. Enjoy riding inside the Kroc Center’s custom group cycling studio while grooving to the oldies!

AQUATICS

ADULT WATER WORKOUTStretch, tone, and improve cardiovascular fitness in this slower-paced class designed for mature active adults wishing to Increase range of motion and flexibility.Location: Therapy Pool

AI CHI (FLOWING AQUATICS ENERGY)Ai Chi marries the eastern art of Tai Chi with aquatic therapy. It promotes improvements in deep breathing, coordination, balance, flexibility, and muscle strength. Location: Therapy Pool

AQUASIZE!A resistance exercise program used to build strength and endurance utilizing specialized water fitness equipment. Appropriate for all fitness levels.Location: Recreation Pool

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION AQUATIC EXERCISEClasses include a series of pool activities led by certified Arthritis Foundation instructors. Participants are guided through a selection of 85 movements designed by exercise specialists, geared to reduce the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. With the aid of water’s buoyancy and resistance, participants improve flexibility, strength and range of motion. Swimming skills are not required.Location: Therapy Pool

DEEP WATER WORKOUTFast-paced, no-impact class designed to build cardiovascular strength while creating muscle tone. Participants must feel comfortable in deep water.Location: Competition Pool

WATER AEROBICSStretch, tone, and improve cardiovascular fitness in this moderately paced class.Location: Recreation Pool WALL, CORE & MORE 16+ Challenging work out in the Deep Water. Participants will do wall work and cardio while engaging their core muscles. Participants need to be comfortable working on the wall and jogging/running in deep water. Location: Competition Pool WATER WALKING 16+A low impact water exercise class with the goal ofwalking a mile in each class, followed by a cooldown of wall stretches. Elevate your heart rate in ourwarm water recreation pool with a guided, fun andchallenging workout that satisfies the recommendationof 10,000 daily steps. Movements will address thefrontal and supine planes and levers of the body.

Come join our Kroc Learn to Swim Program! Each level has three basic components: personal water safety, water comfort, and stroke development. Our hope is that more people will take advantage of the Kroc Center’s Learn to Swim program to develop competency in swimming, along with confidence and endurance.

•All swimmers using the Competition pool and diving boards must pass a 25-meter swim test. See Aquatics associates to arrange test.

•Lap swimming is for children ages 12 and over and adults. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

•All children age 3 and under are required to wear swim diapers and plastic pants.

•Floatation devices of any kind are not allowed in any pool. •During periods of peak usage, pools may be closed for short periods to conduct required maintenance.

•California State Law requires the cooperation of swimmers. Please shower before swimming. Healthy pools are a shared responsibility!

LIFE OPTIONSSKATE PARK

Ages 6 and overOur indoor Skatepark contains elements that challenge both the beginner and advanced skateboarder. For maximum safety, kneepads, elbow pads and a helmet are required for all skaters 17 years old and under. Helmets are required for skaters 18 years and up. PUBLIC SESSIONS: NOW INCLUDED IN KROC DAY PASS ADMISSION!

A youth league designed to help improve children’s sports skills while emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the development of self-esteem. Offering recreational play to all skill levels — and everybody plays! All players must attend the first day of practice for skill assessment in order to be placed on a team. Teams practice on Monday & Friday nights, with league play on Saturdays. Session fee includes jersey, team picture, awards.
