Participation in these activities is a privilege and not a right.
Pledge Forms Students and Parents Must Sign
Pledge Forms. Failure to turn in forms will result in
removal from sport or activity until forms are submitted.
When is the policy in effect? The policy applies during the school
year 24-7.
The policy applies during summer events (ex. camp) for your sport or activity.
The policy applies during the summer once the date of the official season and/or activity begins.
Offenses and Violations
Violations of the Student Code of Conduct
Use, sale, consumption or possession of tobacco, alcohol, or illegal controlled substances.
Students who host a party with alcohol or other illegal controlled substances
Offenses and Violations-cont’d
Disruptive behavior and misconduct
Disrespect to officials or other school personnel
Failure to return equipment
Failure to maintain the academic requirements

Conviction of a violation of any law.
Violation of individual coaches’/advisors’ rules.
Self Referral Policy A student may voluntarily seek
assistance with an alcohol, drug, or tobacco addiction by self-referral to their coach/advisor, AD, or school administrator.
Consequences for ViolatingFirst Offense:
Removal for 365 days
May apply for reinstatement
Under no circumstances may a student be reinstated earlier than two weeks after initial removal.
Consequences for Violating
Second Offense:
Removal for 365 days
No possibility of reinstatement until end of 365 days.
Consequences for ViolatingMore than two offenses:
Permanently removed from all activities
